ICMP Knock Server is a free tool that uses a concept similar to port knocking, which basically involves waiting for a range of packets that match given criteria before executing some action (typically exposing a port, e.g. for SSH connections, that is kept closed or blocked otherwise).
But instead of listening for TCP or UDP packets to arrive on specific ports in a specific order, it accepts ICMP echo requests and checks if their payload lengths and order of arrival match the given pattern.
The advantage is that this approach works with the standard PING tool. Programs with custom code or (although common) networking tools like netcat plus the ability to execute them are not required.

Kumoon is a hybrid of a third person shooter and a puzzle game. Player controls a chick that tries to knock down boxes in various rooms by shooting them with a revolver, shotgun or a bazooka.
Kumoon won the first prize in the GameDev compo at the Assembly05 party. Kumoon uses the MOPE physics engine I wrote in 2004.
The goal of the game is to complete all the rooms successfully. The only way you can complete a room is to have 0 or positive points when you have tilted over all the red/green boxes.
Normally you cannot complete a room just by shooting at the boxes directly. You will get too many penalty points for using too many bullets. Instead you need to use the score multiplier feature. This can be done by bouncing the bullet from the wall before hitting the red/green boxes. This way the points you get will be multiplied by 10 (or 20 or 30, depending on how many bounces the bullet makes before hitting the boxes).
Note that the first shot is always free, regardless of weapon. A good way is to use either the shotgun or the bazooka for the first shot, since they are much more powerful that the revolver. After the first bullet you probably want to use the revolver, because you get much less penalty points for using the revolver bullets.
Enhancements:
- This version includes cmd-Q support for quitting the game and Q key for flying.

Black Shades was one of the winners of the UDevGame 2002 contest, out of about 40 contestants. I aimed for a much simpler graphical style than in GLFighters and Lugaru in order to complete the game within the deadline. In Black Shades you control a psychic bodyguard, and try to protect the VIP (dressed in white) from a horde of zombies, snipers and other assorted would-be assassins.

- 11-1 spaced out text in developer mode, and made cursor on main menu brighter being easier to see.
- 10-29 cleaned up bits and pieces, clearly resulting in performance gains... especially on older machines.

AIM for Mac 2.0b4 is created to let you select your own Buddy sounds, wallpaper and animated Buddy Icons from the AIM Expressions library. This is the Real AIM, not just an AIM-compatible IM client, so file transfers are fast and efficient. Send files, folders and pictures to all your Buddies.

Major Features:

1. Consolidated mode selector. Just click the "Running Man" pull-down menu to select Available, Away, Invisible or Mobile. If you have created Away Messages in a previous version of AIM, you will see them as a sub-menu at the bottom of the pull-down menu.
2. Away toggle, invisible toggle, group row color picker and Find Buddy have been moved to the new Search Toolbar in the Buddy List. You can open or close the new toolbar by selecting "Show Search Toolbar in Buddy List" or pressing Shift-Option-F.

CarBall 2.7 is a very interesting and impressive vehicle based gametype for Unreal Tournament 2004. CarBall is similar to soccer but played with vehicles and a big Ball. Using your vehicle you must knock the ball into the opposing teams goal to score points.

Keyboard Sample Trigger is a simple sampler. Map sounds onto your computer keyboard for easy triggering.

This was originally knocked together for a bunch of students who wanted to easily load and trigger sounds from a laptop during a theatre production, but its good for quick triggering of samples with minimum fannying around, whatever your job. Oh yes, its got some nifty IATMJ effects built into it too.
