The Timer 1.7 is created as an advanced and sophisticated system utility. The small 'time switch clock' can open, programs start now apart from the usual memory dialogue after entered time also files, which Mac shift into the retirement, switches off and since this version to start again. TheTimer is a small bell, which reminds one after an entered number of minutes, a file or a program opens, which Mac switches off or starts again transferred into the state of rest. Ideally e.g. in order not to forget TV series, Pizza, and so on.

Track Timer is a free AppleScript script that interfaces with iTunes and provides a simple way to specify and play any number of iTunes tracks. You simply provide Track Timer with a play list of music, audio streams, or both and the single track or multiple tracks you want to hear in any order, and it takes care of controlling iTunes. You can even ask for a random track or tell Track Timer to instruct iTunes to shuffle the whole play list, and you can specify a different sound volume for each play list. You use Script Timer to schedule the execution of Track Timer. You can schedule any number of play lists at any number of times.

I originally quickly hacked this together at the Camp Smalltalk event at the ESUG 2005 conference, where we installed it on a computer next to the speakers.
