King Me! is a nice and challenging game that will ley you play checkers. Its programming or code does not contain artificial intelligence. It does not learn the game of checkers or how to improve play.

It does calculate a finite quantity of possible moves from any given board with the piece positions on it.

Once you move your checker, King Me! will create a set of possible moves. From each of those moves, King Me! will create another set of moves branching in to a depth. King Me! then evaluates each possible move branch and chooses the move with the highest score. This does not mean it is the best possible move.

I, the programmer of this computer game, have often beat King Me!. King Me! does not know how do position checkers. It simply calculates how many checkers are on the board and makes an evalution.

I am uncertain if King Me! follows all of the national checker rules properly. The intention of King Me! was not to create a tornament machine, but to have fun at your computer. It is more like Saturday-afternoon-fun-with-my-children checkers, rather than professional checkers, if there is such a thing. Enjoy!

When viewing the schedule for a particular NHL team, the data source is ESPN for games that occur in previous months-- unless that month is September. September is an exception because most (but not all) September games are Pre-Season, and ESPN doesnt carry information for pre-season games.
