Cretin Tracker lets you keep track of a list of people (cretins, most likely), including their name, email address, and any miscellaneous notes you have about them. You can assign each person a Cretin Level from 1 to 100 (where 100 is really very bad indeed), and also note a reason for their inclusion in your list. Perfect for dangerous sociopaths!

While there are many programs one can use for bug, customer and developemental tracking, they tend to be overkill for my rather simple needs. Project Track came about because I still need to keep notes on my projects as I write them but I wanted just a little bit more.
Project Track is designed to hold more than one project but you can use it for a single project if you need to. Each of the projects in the database has four sub-databases attached to it. One for bug, customer and development note, and an eMail log.

FreshBooks is a free Dashboard widget that will allow a FreshBooks user to keep track of the time worked on a task and to submit an entry with notes to the FreshBooks account.
Also, FreshBooks clock will keep running even if the computer will reboot or shutdown.

- A FreshBooks account with API access enabled.

Magic Life Counter 2.0.1 is recognized as an interesting utility that keeps track of lives or score in trading card games such as Magic: The Gathering. MLC features large + and - buttons and sliders to easily increase life or score. MLC 2 now supports up to 8 players with an expandable window.

Talk Timer is a simple application in Squeak for use at conferences to help speakers keep track of how much time they have left.
The timer counts down the number of minutes reserved for the talk and turns red when only 5 minutes are left, when times up it also flashes.
I originally quickly hacked this together at the Camp Smalltalk event at the ESUG 2005 conference, where we installed it on a computer next to the speakers.
