Can I Keep It? is simple application for introducing aquarists to the art of choosing fish for the community aquarium.

When you click on the names of the fish you are interested in, incompatible species are dimmed.

A brief explanation of any problems specific to the fish are noted in the text box at the bottom of the application window.

Keep or Skip is a game with no GUI.
During the game, youll listen to a short clip of a randomly selected track from your iTunes library. The clip is divided into pieces which are mixed up.
The games aim is to reconstruct the correct musical sequence.
Before listening to a clip, you can choose to skip one track. You cant skip more than four tracks in one game. If you make five mistakes selecting the sequences, the game is over and you lose.
You can play to beat your personal high score and you can also send your score to the world-wide database from the game. You can also listen to the world-wide top ten from the game.
When the voice asks you to select a command, you can type the first letter of the command on the keyboard or, if you have a compatible microphone, say the command using the Mac OS X built-in Speech Recognition system. In this case you have to press the "esc" key, or the key you selected in the system preferences, before saying the command.

- Output uses the Speech Synthesis system.
- You can enter the commands using your voice thanks to the Speech Recognition system (you must have a compatible microphone for this feature).

More Can I Keep It? is a compatibility tool like Can I Keep It? for the aquarist setting up a community tank.
More Can I Keep It? is based on Can I Keep It?. It brings 48 new species to the mix, including lots more tetras, rainbowfish, cichlids, and popular oddballs like spiny eels and pufferfish. Freeware.

Stick it works more like a little notebook. This paradigm makes more sense for those who want to make quick notes and keep them together, but have limited screen real estate while working with other tools.
Stick it is excellent for those who work with web-based applications, which are prone to crashing or behaving unexpectedly. Its great to have a simple, robust little tool to hold your notes rather than relying on that web app to behave properly all the time.
Stick it saves you the frustration of having to re-type everything you just took down and entered into a text field in the web application, when the web application crashes the browser, or times out, or surprises you in some other way.

Talk Timer is a simple application in Squeak for use at conferences to help speakers keep track of how much time they have left.
The timer counts down the number of minutes reserved for the talk and turns red when only 5 minutes are left, when times up it also flashes.
I originally quickly hacked this together at the Camp Smalltalk event at the ESUG 2005 conference, where we installed it on a computer next to the speakers.
