In order to make up for the lack of information returned by HID devices, Amelio has to download some information that allows it to function better. Currently there are only a handful of devices that I have been able to create this information for, but there is a tool available with Amelio that should allow anyone to create the device specification files with little effort.

However, he expects you to now help him sort out his extremely large collection of heads. His pet alligator, Jake, will pop up from time to time to give you advice or to warn you that the rules are changing (Dr. Umfoofoo can be a little unstable...) And dont be surprised when others have things to say as well, but dont mind Ted and Fred, they can be a bit mean at times.

quitDOCK is a very simple little widget that allows you to restart the Dashboard from within the Dashboard.
So why do that? Really its a development tool designed for me - but I thought I should share it!! I hope that you are going to find it useful.
It also works as a way to completely quit the Dashboard if youre concerned about memory usage. Quit the dock and, providing you dont reactivate the Dashboard (e.g. F12), the Dashboard will not be running.
Developers - some changes to your Info.plist file dont seem to take until you restart the Dock, so use this! Other times its just nice to make sure it actually is your code causing the problem and not the Dashboard!!
