Currently there are 54 DV channels available through VF1 online and new channels being added as they become available. Its like having a small screen television right on your desktop. The VF1 is a widget that at its current version, allows you to change channels and turn the VF1 to its Off state. To turn it to its On state, simple open the side menu panel, scroll to locate a selection, click the channel, then sit back and watch. This new version includes full screen on all RealPlayer channels only. To activate the Widget Television in FullScreen mode, simply choose one of the RealPlayer channels from the channel list, and after the station completely loads click on the television screen to activate it. Skobos Personal Television 1.1.2 is a flexible, efficient, and easy to use editor tool. The DEMO for Skobos is limited only by the amount of available channels. The current DEMO is configured with 12 channels while the purchased version currently has 175 channels (Variety, Music, News, Sports, Education, and World). The software has been in development for the past few years (beginning with the Widget Television VF1 through VF3) and is now a stand-a-lone package.

The television programming design of Skobos, was written in its entirety in Applescript using Apple's Xcode environment, Applescript Studio. The program's (currently 175 channels) viewing capabilities relies on the user's installation of the top three (free) video players, available over the Internet. The purpose is to avoid problems I experienced with my ADSL service provider. I got disconnected every couple of hours, and after each drop, for next 5-15 minutes the connection couldnt be established at all.

If automatic redial was applied all the time , the connection never got established. I realized that situation must be IDLE for these 5-15 minutes, in order to make a connection possible again. Same happened with 2 different ADSL modems. You can also simply edit the delay time yourself.
