GPS-Info CMM 2.0
GPS-Info CMM 2.0 is known as a Contextual Menu Module designed for Mac OS X that display the GPS coordinates of a photo file, and allows you to view that location in Google Earth, Flickr, Panoramio, Google Maps, or MapQuest. more>>
GPS-Info CMM 2.0 is known as a Contextual Menu Module designed for Mac OS X that display the GPS coordinates of a photo file, and allows you to view that location in Google Earth, Flickr, Panoramio, Google Maps, or MapQuest. It supports a wide range of photo formats, such as JPG, TIFF, RAW, and PSD.
Select one photo in the Finder and launch GPS-Info with the context menu (in Snow Leopard), or using the Services menu, or with a double-click.
The cool, semi-transparent GPS-Info window displays a preview of the photo, and a couple of basic file details, such as its size, creation date, and modification date. The red geotag icon in the bottom right corner of the thumbnail indicates the presence of a geotag in the file already.
The center part contains the geotag. Not just the coordinate, but also the GPS altitude and view direction values, if they are contained in the photo.
Buttons on the right side of the window offer you powerful options to actually use the GPS data. First, you can launch a GeoFinder search in CDFinder, to find photos taken near this place in your CDFinder photo library.
And since CDFinder also searches iPhoto, this covers your entire iPhoto database as well, all in one click! Also, you can view the place in Google Earth, which will even be launched for you, if necessary. Exporting the GPS coordinate to the commonly used KML format is also just one click away.
Enhancements:
- The contextual menu module is gone, and GPS-Info is now an application (thanks to Snow Leopards lack of support for contextual menu extensions!).
- The advantage is that we can now extend, debug, and improve GPS-Info so much easier. Stay tuned!

Long Info CMM 1.0.1 comes to you as a new Contextual Menu Module for Mac OS 9.x, which allows users to see and even modify the long file names that Apple is using in Mac OS X.
First introduced in Mac OS 8.1, the "Extended Format", also known as HFS+, allows for 255 characters as object names. The old file system did only allow for 31 characters.
But until Mac OS X, this feature was never actually used by Apple. Now, during the transition period from 9.x to X, Long Info CMM allows users to see and modify the long names on the old Mac OS.
This is a useful feature for software developers as well as all users who work in both worlds.

Touch CMM 1.2.8
This is basically a CMM (Contextual Menu Module) that will touch a file, folder or even a volume in the Finder with various options more>> This is basically a CMM (Contextual Menu Module) that will "touch" a file, folder or even a volume in the Finder with various options. If you are at all familiar with UNIX you know that it features a "touch" command which sets the specified objects modification date/time to the current date/time. The Touch CMM does the same and more. Touch resets the creation, modification, last access and last backup dates of the object. Touch CMM also features an option called "Touch @ Noon" which sets the objects creation, modification, last access and last backup date/time to the current day and the time to 12 Noon. This is usually applied to software distributions for historical reasons on the Mac side. Lastly you can use "Touch Random" which will set the modification date forwards or backwards randomly several days in time. These last two options makes it easy to "set" a file or folder to a current or future creation date if you are testing backup or security software. TouchCM does not process sub-folders or their contents. You can however make multiple selections in a folder and touch them all at one time.
Mac OS 8.6 or later.
No longer hangs when touching more than 5 items at a time in the Finder (AppleEvent blocking issue).
