Free inbox mass mailer by software for mac

Bulk Mailer is a small AppleScript whick allows Claris Emailer to send bulk mail, such as a newsletter.

With Bulk Mailer you will be able to send commercial mailings to up to several hundreds of email addresses very easily.

Enter the subject of the message, the date you want the mail to be sent, the address book group to send it to, and the file that contains the text of the message. The script creates a folder using the date-to-be-sent as the folder name, and puts a draft of the message in that folder.

Requirements: Mac OS X 10.3 or later.

Yahoo Mailer 1.0.3 is a program useful in case a mailto: link opens up my mail program. Yahoo! Mailer here just re-directs those links back to your default web browser so you can use your email there.

File Inbox Read Msgs is an Entourage AppleScript which finds all "read" messages in yout Inbox and moves them to a "Read" subfolder. Simple and effective.

I started a little business a couple weeks ago and needed to send out a customer service bulletin. To my surprise, I could not find any good AppleScripts for doing this on OS X.

First, I downloaded a shareware application called "Mailings", couldnt get it to authenticate with my SMTP server, and got no reply from the developer. So, I did not buy it. Then I wrote a script using Mail.app, and it would work for awhile but then tell me that the server rejected my password.

So, for my next bulletin I used Microsoft Entourage and, after some tinkering, got it to work. There are lots of comments in the code, and besides changing my example subject, recipient list and message to yours, you will probably need to do some other tinkering to meet your needs. I t works with Entourage from Office 2004; I do not know whether it will work with earlier verisons of Office. Have fun, and please send me an email if you learn more about it than I did.

Critical Mass (aka Critter) is an SDL/OpenGL space shootem up game. It currently runs on Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux.
The latter is my main development platform. Other platforms supported by SDL/OpenGL may also work with a bit of work.
Enhancements:
- Workaround for a problem in one of the 3rd party libraries that caused open windows of other applications to not minimize anymore after exiting from fullscreen.
