This is a simple AppleScript droplet which includes a binary of the TiVoDecode program. Just drag and drop your .tivo files on it and get an MPEG-2 video out. You can then use other tools to convert that MPEG-2 into something else.

Documentation is included. If you need help getting your .tivo files onto your Mac or converting MPEG-2 files into something more useful, try Google.

Problems with the decoding (such as missing audio and other weirdness) are best addressed on the tivodecode sourceforge page. I will not be supporting this program beyond the functionality of the basic AppleScript wrapper.

To get your TiVo files onto your Mac, you have two options: First, try Galleon, with or without the launcher bundle for OS X. Or, if you prefer, you can download straight from your browser by typing in your TiVo’s IP address prefixed by https:// (rather than http://). Your login is “tivo” and your password is your Media Access Key..

If you’re using Safari and have Bonjour bookmarks enabled, your TiVo should just publish itself to your bookmarks, so you can select that link (probably called something like “dvr-123.local.”) and then just add the https:// in front of it to get to the video listing.

These videos wont play terribly well in Quicktime. You’re better off using VLC or something else for video playback.

MusicRenamer 2 brings you a high speed and convenient way to rename large numbers of music files. MusicRenamer is a powerful mp3 file renaming tool. It helps to avoid spending hours of hard boring manual editing of mp3 filenames.

You will rename your mp3 filenames easier and faster and you'll see your mp3 list with consistent order in filenames. The renamer converts easily any rare and strange filename to a simple format containing the album name, track number, artist and title.

You will be asked to select a folder that contains MP3, AAC, M4A, or M4P files. These files will be renamed based on the ID3 tags contained within them. If no ID3 tags are found the filename will be left unaltered.

You can rename your songs with combinations of the artists name, album name, track number, song title, composer, and genre in the order you specify. In a few clicks, your music library will be organized according to the format you prefer.

7. Inline Notes: You asked for it, you got it: notes can now be displayed right beneath the items they're associated with, so you can see all of your notes without having to select each item in turn. If you prefer the old way, you can still choose to view notes in a pane at the bottom of the window. It's up to you!

Mail to ToDo X is an AppleScript to connect Apples Mail with the shareware to-do list application ToDo X. It provides a convenient way to create to-do items from selected email messages.

The to-do items name will be the message subject, and the notes will contain either an excerpt of the message or (if you prefer) its full text. At the end of the notes youll find a clickable link that will open the message in Mail.

If you have imported a number of groups from other email programs, all of whose members have been made into full-fledged contacts in your Address Book, but you prefer that they be merely group members (name and email address) without contact status filling up your Address Book, select the group in the Address Book and run De-Contact Groups Members (Entourage).

Their contact identities will be deleted from the Address Book and they will turn into simple Name [email address] group members with @ signs.

To install just put De-Contact Group Members E into the Entourage Script Menu Items folder in the Microsoft User Data folder in your Documents folder.

Would you like to export the entire contents of one of your ENTOURAGE folders into one long MS Word document broken up by date stamps...sort of a long journal of correspondence?
Entourage Many to Word will take one or more selected messages and will write them all to a single Microsoft Word document.
Enhancements:
