DiceX is a nice, freeware dice-roller for role-playing games. The main reason I programmed this was a lack of satisfaction from existing dice-rollers.
One can enter the quantity of dice, number of sides, and put in an optional bonus, and this program will roll the dice; theres also a memory feature where one can save/restore values for the number of dice, sides, bonus, and result.
DiceX features dropping functions, to drop either the lowest or the highest die, or even both, and a log text field, to show a detailed breakdown of each roll.

Fish is an aquarium simulator. It allows you to add fish to an underwater environment and customize them.
Fish show complex behavior. You can feed them, see its evolution as they grow, breed, use different cameras to track them, and save different aquariums for later usage. Fish can be shared with others over the local network using Bonjour.

Kotoba is a simple aid for increasing your Japanese vocabulary (and can also be used to learn Korean, Chinese, and so forth). It is based on the not so unconvential idea that increased exposure to words will help consolidate your memory of them. The implementation of this idea is by repeatedly showing words in a small window that you can keep visible in the background while you work on your stuff.
The program can be set to show the kanji first, then the kana reading, and the translation and any possible comments, or vice versa. Words can be displayed manually, using navigation buttons or the arrow keys, or automatically via an adjustable timer. Multiple dictionaries can be created and edited. Editing is very flexible as Kotoba supports drag-and-drop, searching, as well as import and export of text files.

PyObjC is a bridge between Python and Objective-C. It allows full featured Cocoa applications to be written in pure Python. It is also easy to use other frameworks containing Objective-C class libraries from Python and to mix in Objective-C, C and C++ source.
Python is a highly dynamic programming language with a shallow learning curve.
It combines remarkable power with very clear syntax.
The installer package installs a number of Project Builder templates foreasily creating new Cocoa-Python projects, as well as support for syntaxcoloring of Python files in Project Builder.
PyObjC also supports full introspection of Objective-C classes anddirect invocation of Objective-C APIs from the interactive interpreter.

One day I got very sick of maintaining samples of my 300 fonts by hand. So I wrote this. Im anticipating great rewards when it comes time to pick the perfect font for the titles in my next iMovie.

The document this program produces is a plain old Rich Text document full of all your fonts. Save it, print it, or just gaze at it rapturously. Whatever. The possibilities are undoubtedly endless.
