Droffett is a drop application utility which "flattens" a folder, i.e. moves all files which are descendants of it so that they are directly inside it. You may also visualize this as all descendant files percolating up into the given folder.
Warning: The operation can not be undone unless you manually make a backup copy of the folder. Use at your own risk!
Please also note the following:
- Application packages, bundles, etc. are condsidered folders, and their contents will also be moved.
- The "emptied" folders are left intact.
- Once a file is moved any other files with the same name are not moved.
- Folders themselves are not moved.
How to use: Drag a folder on top of the Droffett application icon in the Finder or the main window. Droffett then prompts you to confirm you really want to flatten the folder because it can not reverse the action.
(By default Droffett quits when its done. Use the "Preferences..." menu item in the Droffett menu to turn this option off.)

YACMU (Yet Another Cron Maintenance Utility) is a small ultility written in Applescript.

This small app is based on the simple shell script "sudo periodic xxxxx"( where xxxxx can be daily, weekly or monthly).

The above shell script, in order to run, needs admin privileges; this is why you will be asked to prompt your admin password.

You can run 3 kind of maintenance: daily, weekly and monthly.

The system normally operates these tasks during the night. But if you keep your Mac off after midnight Mac OS cant perform this kind of maintenance. So you can use YACMU.

Backup you system before run to avoid problems.

Atmosculator is a freeware Mac OS X application, written using Cocoa & Objective-C, that calculates key properties of the Earths atmosphere as a function of altitude using the 1976 Standard Atmosphere Model.

It can be used to determine the pressure, temperature, density, viscosity and other parameters up to an altitude of 278,385 feet

The 1976 model is the latest of a number of versions developed jointly by NOAA, NASA and the USAF. The complete model includes properties at even higher altitudes, but these regions are more complex and are not included here.

Atmosculator also provides the option of calculating properties under non-standard conditions - i.e. when the temperature differs from that of the standard model.
Although the values provided by Atmosculator have been carefully checked against the original U.S.

Government source, their accuracy cannot be guaranteed, so please use this tool at your own risk.

Atmosculator includes extensive Help on the basis of the model and a mathematical derivation showing how the properties are calculated.
