Today in History displays the events that occured today in history.

Today in History is written in Apple Script Studio 1.2 and uses the shell command to display the events that happened today in history. The idea for this came from Paul Bissexs blog post; which can be found here. I also borrowed the sed code from Scott Morrison.

Requirements:
Mac OS 9.2.1, Akua Sweets Scripting Addition.

Metal History is a must have widget for any heavy metal fan.
The Metal History Dashboard Widget is a massive widget that does many things quite nicely.
It displays the year by year history of 7 big heavy metal bands. It also has many different options for skins of the widget (6 in total).

Delete iPod Playlist and Tracks is a free and easy to use Applescript thatwill allow you to quickly delete a selected playlist from an iPod, and its tracks from the iPods Library.
System requirements:
- iTunes 2.0.3 or later
- iPod
WARNING: Make sure that you dont select the iPods main library because this will delete its ENTIRE library. The Delete iPod Playlist and Tracks script must be used with extreme caution.

"Delete Without Read..." will allow you to navigate through your Outlook Express or Entourage folder hierarchy and delete the messages you choose from a specific folder or subfolder.

Delete Without Read is useful when you want to delete a message such as unwanted HTML messages without viewing its contents.

Completly freeware.

Close and Delete is a small AppleScript for BBEdit which closes the frontmost document and moves it to the trash without a warning.

BBEdit has a great feature called Close & Delete, which is available when you hold down Shift and view the File menu. In BBEdit 7.0 and later, the utility of this time-saving feature is greatly diminished because BBEdit asks if you’re sure that you want to delete the file.

This script restores the old behavior of the command. If you delete the file by accident, you can always recover it from the trash can.
