We are all well aware of iTunes rather lackluster support for TV Shows and the iPod. Luckily some fine folks wrote a great MPEG-4 editor that makes TV Shows and other MPEG-4 files show up in iTunes and on an iPod correctly.

Not satisfied with the existing GUI front ends for AtomicParsley I wrote my own. Its slimmer than the others I used by splitting the movie types into separate displays to offer a cleaner and smaller UI. Additionally instead of offering everything and the kitchen sink I opted to offer a smaller subset of the available options but ones which I feel are the core fields for the most common video types.

Whats New in This Release:

Redid tagging to better align with the movies form the iTunes store. Thanks Norbert Rittel.
Removed the ability to apply TV Show tags to Music fields as these are now fully searchable in iTunes.
Added extended date options for TV Shows, Movies and Music Videos
Added a genre field for TV Shows.
Added an Actors field for Movies. This is placed in the Artist tag like movies from the iTunes Store.
Added a DVD field for Movies. This is placed in the Album tag like movies from the iTunes Store.
Added a Director field for Movies. This is placed in the Album artist field like movies from the iTunes Store.
The DVD and Director fields can be used to group and search for artwork for movies.
Added a genre field for Movies.
Added a Date field for Music Videos.
Sanitizes file names that contain : or / to work around a potential AtomicParsely crash. When renaming files titles with a : or / in the name get converted to a -.
Slightly reworked the UI to be less button heavy.

WYHIWYS allows you to email the mp3 file and/or information about the song currently playing in iTunes with Entourage X.

The script offers two options: Send only the information, or send the information plus the mp3 file.

Completly freeware.

Much To Do About Nothing is a simple to do program for the Mac. It offers no frills, just lets you add items, edit items, and delete items when you finish them. It was made using MacPython, and then turned into a regular Mac application.

Enhancements:
This update corrects two small but significant problems pointed out by by users.
- The filetype autotyper was changed to provide support for properly typing Stuffit file segments rather than typing them as Stuffit archives as was previously happening.
- A second UU decoder was also added (user selectable) to allow proper decoding of multipart encodings in which the last line of uu data in one segment is not separated from the header data of the next article. A blank line may be required there under message handling RFCs (I have not yet checked) and in any case is customary. The new decoder works even without that blank line present, but loses the ability to detect bad uu character data as a result (which the old decoder does well). Other popular decoders use the second method only while ignoring errors as can be seen by CRC checks of the resultant data. MNT now allows you to have a choice between the two methods.
- Error reporting options for Par file handling were also expanded on a test basis (see comments in documentation).
