Weight2Weight uses a Current weight, a New weight, an Activity level, Height and Age to calculate the Calories required each day to sustain these weights, and their associated Body Mass Indices (BMI).

Weight2Weight may also estimate the weight change after a given number of days, or the number of days needed to reach a target weight for a change in caloric intake. It includes provisions for metric and English units, different daily Calorie requirements for male or female and five activity levels, plus options for three different calculated basal Calories/day/lb estimates and a custom Calories/day/lb.

While the accuracies of the calculations have been confirmed in testing with reasonable values, there has not been extensive testing of the algorithms over the entire range of possible inputs. The author is not responsible for any errors that may occur. And remember, contrary to popular belief, you do not always get what you pay for, but you always pay for what you get.

Chessic is an interface to the Internet Chess Club (ICC) that allows you to play chess against other opponents over the internet.

MCBrightness Control is a set of classes that allows the user to get info about connected displays (width, height, bitsforsample etc..). You can also set and get the brightness of each one.

iPhoto To SQL is an export plugin for iPhoto that will create an SQL dump file with all picture metadata in addition to creating scaled images and thumbnails. If youve written your own photo gallery software, use this to get your photos and associated metadata into your database backend.
iPhoto To SQL will create the following fields: id, title, comment, keywords, stars, date, album, thumbnail filename and image filename. You can set height/width maximums on the thumbnails and images and they will be rescaled with their aspect ratio preserved.
Enhancements:
- Minor fix to no longer clobber the SQL file when doing multiple exports.
- The SQL file is named for the album being exported also saved in the directory itself.

The Windfinder widget is a small utility that displays wind, waves and weather from your favorite surfspot as observations and forecast on your Windows Vista or Mac OS desktop.

The widget/gadget frequently loads the observations and forecasts from windfinder.com. You can select your favorite surfspot, a maximum of 3 weather parameters (e.g. wind speed, wind direction, air temperature), and the units of measure (Beaufort, Knots, kph, mph, Meter, feet, Celsius, Fahrenheit) for the display.

Additionally you can set a threshold for windspeed, wave height, wave period. If the limit is exceeded, the display alerts you with a blinking icon or text.

You can also use the widget to jump to the corresponding wind report or forecast on the Windfinder website.
