This is the newest remake of the classic 8-bit isometric 3D adventure game Head Over Heels. It took us 2 years to complete it and we hope you like it!

Head Over Heels was released, um, a while ago. Around about 1987 if I recall correctly, and it was immediately praised in the press as being quite the bestest thing ever. Not only was it a huge game for its time, it also had great graphics and was very addictive - if somewhat punishing in its difficulty level.

The variety in the locations was amazing and the challenges brilliantly designed. Quite rightly it was awarded with pretty much every accolade that could be bestowed upon it by the various magazines. Even today it still stands as a brilliantly designed title and has never really been bettered in the isometric adventure genre.

Requirements:
MacOS 8.0 or later, or a desktop picture control panel like Decor.

ID Software have opened up the source for Quake 3 to the public, so what better way to celebrate than to port it to run on the OS X-Intel architecture!
So if you are lucky enough to have access to an Apple Intel developer box, fire it up and enjoy.
NOTE: This is not a universal binary. It also requires that you have a full version of Quake 3.
Enhancements:
- Initial time-demo tests of this port doubled the frame rate vs running the PPC version under emulation.

- Compiled vm mode now works, however it may be a little buggy. For more reliability but less speed, set these variables in your cfg file:

Kitchen Timer is a simple alarm timer applet written in AppleScript which notifies you with a dialog and a sound when the specified number of minutes has passed.

Launch it and enter how many minutes for alarm, then press "GO" button. You can use decimal fractional value. (0.5 for 30 seconds).

Show HTTP HEAD in IE allows Internet Explorer to view the result of an HTTP HEAD request for an html page or for a document (pdf, jpg, mp3, etc.) transmitted through the HTTP protocol.

You can inspect server version, filesizes, redirects, cookies sent, content-type, etc.

This script is particulary usefull for checking / debugging purposes.

Dead Field is an arcade game where you kill troopers running across the field on the screen.

You do not have any weapons and you are just able to fire some blasting compositions to stop the enemy troopers. The developers highscore is 3560. What about yours?
