The SMS Mac Scripting Application makes it possible to send an SMS (text message) from an AppleScript.

Several example scripts are included.

For example, there is a script using Apple Mail to send yourself an SMS when you receive mail from a specific person. Another example shows you how to combine an SMS with an event in Apple iCal, a birthday for example.

iCal Script Integrator allows you to use AppleScript straight out of iCals events by modifying its "e-mail notification" script. This means that you can let iCal schedule tasks or start applications for you.

fscript Command-line Tool has a command-line interface to the F-Script interpreter, including useful enhancements for Perl/Python - like processing of strings and files.

fscript is a program that allows F-Script scripts to be run from the command line. It also provides some useful classes and methods that make the language more appropriate for general scripting tasks, such as line-oriented input/output, regular expressions, and a library importing system.

In this documentation, fscript is used to refer exclusively to the command-line program, while "F-Script Interpreter" refers to the internal FSInterpreter object that actually does the real work of running the script.
