DGuitar is a Guitar Pro (*.GP4, *.GP3, GTP) viewer, player that works under Linux, Solaris, BSD and any other Operational System that has Java Runtime Environment 1.4 or later installed.
Enhancements:
- Plays Guitar Pro files directly (play more than one simultanously...happy mixing !!)
- The player version is 0.1.0 + the viewer version is 0.3.2 = 0.4.2
- When a Guitar Pro file is being played you can see at what measure and beat is the player (PlayPanel)

Guitar Tuner is an application for tuning a guitar.

The interface is pretty intuitive, if your instrument is sharp the sharp side will light up if it is flat the flat side will light up.

There are no preferences, or buttons to push.

Guitar tuner will listen through your default sound device, if your having trouble getting it to respond, try turning up the gain on your default device. This is done in System Preferences -> Sound for the built-in microphones.

Just pick a note and type of chord.
Then watch as the widget displays how to fret that chord on the guitar.
Scroll up the neck and see alternate ways of playing that same chord. When you get tired of that, flip the widget around and change the tuning on your guitar.
