PNG, TIFF, JPG, GIF and on a good day PDF files can be imported.
Drag the image file onto Thats Not a Pictures icon, or into the image well on the left of its window. A HTML table describing the image using cell background colours appears in the right-hand field. A large image may take some seconds to translate.
Use the "Cell size" control to set the tables resolution. Pre-shrinking images and compensating with a larger cell size trades some sharpness for a smaller file.
This table can be copied and pasted into a webpages source. Alternatively, the "Generate header" option creates a stand-alone HTML page.<<less

Main features:
- Spinner: At the widget opening, indicates you that photos are loading. When you pass your mouse over the photo, you will get its caption info and by clicking it, you will be taken to the browser where the whole set is displayed
- 4 photo frames: On the widget front will give last updated photos from Splashnews.com guest area. By default, photos are changed every 5 seconds, but this value can be modified on the back panel
- News Ticker: The ticker displays latest news pulled from SplashNews.com ticker, on a stop & go behavior and from right to left. The ticker is set to refresh every 7 seconds
- Back options: Go to the back of the widget using the small "i" icon on widget top- right. This will allow you to change some options on widget features. To validate your options, just click "Done" button, and youll be back to front panel.

EmpMenuX will auto discover any empegs on your local network and adds a Mac OS X NSMenuItem for each of them. Each of these menu items allows you to send basic commands to the empeg via hijack. If you allow the mouse cursor to hover over the menu item for a second you will see a tool tip with current artist and song information. EmpMenuX also allows you to scroll various pieces of information on the empegs screen. See the Preferences to enable scrolling stock quotes, current temperature, and RSS headlines.
Any new empegs added to the network should show up within two minutes (and empegs that have been removed will go away within the same time period). The tool tips for song info are updated every 10 seconds so they may be a little out of date. The new empeg discovery period and how often information should be scrolled on the empeg screen are configurable in the preferences.

WebcamGridMovie is a sample app I wrote to gather dynamically generated images into a grid in a movie. It is written with Objective-C and Cocoa.
WebcamGridMovie illustrates how to draw into a NSImage, how to add NSImages to a QTMovie, how to use NSTimer, how to use NSThread, and how to use Core Data. My usage of Core Data is pretty weak in this example. I wanted an easy way to write to a document file and Core Data is about as easy as you can get.
There is no support or warranty for this software. It is as is.
1. Add Name/URL pairs by clicking on the Add button. Removing pairs can be done by selecting the pair and clicking the Remove button.
2. Each pair will show up in a cell in the movie. The size of the cells are determined by Cell Width and Cell Height. Columns is how many columns in the grid.
3. Time Value and Time Scale are for adding each frame to the movie
4. Timer is in seconds. How long the software will wait before adding a frame to the movie. The threads that go and get the images do so every 10 seconds regardless of this setting.
5. Destination is where the movie will be written to. Also, the software writes a log file. The log file is a tab delimited file that contains an average value for each cell. We wrote the software to find occurrences of bad images - they show up as white.
