About the Icon(s):

I am not partial to the "design and duplicate" method of icon illustration, in fact I much prefer reinvention rather than repetition. But I had this swatch of grass lying around that I first used in my "Tombstone Classic" icon and it just kinda sprouted into the icons in this set.

iGolf 2.0 is a very flexible and effective tool which let you swing your iPhone like a golf club and then tells you how far your shot went. It gauges how fast you swung and how far your shot traveled with the iPhone's accelerometer. It's like having a driving range wherever you go.

Enhancements: Version 2.0 adds 3 holes you can play through along with directional control using the touch screen.

GolfCard is a nice and simple scorecard keeper, useful for storing and comparing your golf rounds.
Files are automatically saved in the Preferences folder.Auto calculate - you put in the course and round details, it works out the rest.
Course Data Import - Instead of retyping the hole pars every time, import the details from another scorecard.Textfields for storing additional round and hole information.Print scorecards.? Oncreen help facility.
Enhancements:
- Fixes a bug which prevented the analysis winow opening if certain dates were entered in your rounds.

TO INSTALL GolfXpress Screen Saver:

1. Unzip GolfXpressSS.zip
2. Drop GolfXpress.qtz file into your /Library/ScreenSavers folder.
3. Open System Preferences and choose Desktop & Screen Savers.
4. Click at the tab Screen Saver.
5. Select GolfXpress.

goSerial is an application that lets you talk to serial devices.
This type of application is often refered to as a terminal, because it mimics the behaviour of the terminal hardware that was used to communicate with servers and mainframes in the old days.
