I wrote the application because I couldnt find any cheap way of making a friends movie that he took of his dog in portrait orientation into landscape orientation without distorting the movie. And then I needed to figure out what to do with the "ears". Thais is where the overlaying of the image came in.
Enhancements:
- Just before the save dialog appears, I show the standard export settings dialog for QuickTime movies. With the export settings dialog, you can set the compression for video and audio (if available). You can also tap into some of the cool filter features of QuickTime.

Plainview also provides a presentation mode so you can build a presentation of, say, 10 sites youve built, and then show them one by one. Skip to the next site by hitting a hot key. We use this a lot for our Dog and Pony shows. We fire up one site weve done. Browse around. Show it. Time to move on? Skip to the next site, without opening up a location bar. Seamless, beautiful presentations.
You can also save presentations, add bookmarks, import your bookmarks, exit full-screen mode, open multiple windows, and view Quicktime movies. And check out the slick way we manage popups!
