However, the fact that GmailX is just a go between, means that the program itself doesnt affect the results you will get in your mail application. This depends entirely on libgmail and gmailpopd. With the introduction of the SMTP ability in GmailX, it is possible to send mails through your Gmail account from within your mail application.
