UGL is a collection of classes that will get you started in integrating OpenGL contexts within a PowerPlant application.
LGLFont: a simple class to ease the process of drawing text in an OpenGL context, using AGL and standard fonts.
LGLOffscreen: use it in a similar way as LGWorld, only to draw to an offscreen OpenGL context that you can easily blit to a window (only drawback: offscreen GL worlds are software rendered as of Mac OS 10.1.5)
LGLPane: a simple class that deals with most of the setup work for you. Override a few simple methods and enjoy!

Enhancements:
- Turbo (already present in the previously only for win32 released 0.70 alpha-1). Press and hold down the turbo key (default e) to accelerate for a limited amount of time (your turbo recharges when you release the key). The engine noise should give you a clue how fast you're going.
- Wall acceleration - if you're near an enemy wall, your cycle speeds up. Useful for overtaking and boxing in an enemy player. But watch out, they might try to cut you off while you're closing in. This feature isnt enabled by default, but you can change that in the Game -> Game Rules -> Game Type menu.

The following is a brief description of each screensaver module:
Impossible Cage: Displays a rotating cube whose edges cross each other in a physically impossible manner.
Circuit: Displays moving and rotating electrical components such as resistors, chips, and LEDs. You can configure the number of pieces and whether they spin as they move.
Infinite Stairs: Displays and rotates a staircase whose stairs appear to be constantly ascending.
Moebius Ants: Displays a Moebius strip with ants marching on it. Configuration options allow you to display a solid or wireframe strip and to hide the ants.
Rubik: Displays a rotating Rubiks Cube which repeatedly shuffles and solves itself. You can configure the number of random moves made when shuffling, and change the size of the cube up to 8x8x8.
By default, on multiple monitor systems only the main monitor will run the screensaver; others will be blank. If you check the "Use All Screens" checkbox which appears in each of the configuration sheets, the screensavers will run on all screens. Generally you should not run on all monitors unless all of them support OpenGL acceleration.

It is no iPhoto or Picasa clone, GL Image Browser is not meant as a tool to archive pictures, but as a tool to quickly browse through thousands of pictures to find a special one you are looking for.
If you left-click on a picture, you enter the full-view mode where your whole display is used to display the pictures. You can then use the arrow keys on your keyboard to go a picture forward or backward. Click again and you are back in the thumbnail viewer. Right-click a thumbnail to see the file on your harddisk.
Enhancements:
- We added a lot of new stuff to GL Image Browser, some new features are based on requests we got in the forums. We also fixed a Bug that prohibited GL Image Browser v1.0.1 from viewing PDF files.
- New features are PNG transparency, choosable background color in the picture viewer, drag and drop of folders onto the application to scan for pictures and last but not least a comic viewer mode. In this mode, the picture is zoomed to the whole width of your screen and you can move your mouse or use the scrollwheel (if you have one) to scroll the picture up and down. With the mousebuttons you can go a page forward or a page backward. This mode is great for all pictures that are higher than wide, DIN A4/A5 for example.
- GL Image Browser also has a new Icon made by Danny Jones. He likes our program so much that he made a new Icon for us, for free.

But err... most games need as much processor power as they can use right? Right.
So before launching the game you need to quit as many programs as you can, and of course you have several days worth of work open! And 15-20 applications running? And it would take you several precious gaming minutes to close and save all these applications, let alone open them all up again after you finish... Who needs the hassle, right? Right?
...Well this is where GameLauncher comes in handy.
GameLauncher first requires that you select the application and, once selected, if you press the "Launch" button, will quit as many applications as you have running, launch the game, wait patiently until you are finished, then return the applications to your desktop good as new. Less time wasted, more game-play time maximised. Neat right? Right!
Enhancements:
- The "select all" checkbox value is retained over multiple quits.
- Item selections are now kept in prefs!! This is a big one. You can have other applications running and they will never be quit (e.g. Speex or Ventrilo).
- processes are quit and relaunched by process ID so you should find that all your applications are in the same order in the Dock after launch.
- If a launched program crashes (instead of exiting normally) GL will prompt you to relaunch the app instead of just returning to "unlaunched".
- GL will respond to a Log Out request and prompt you to either quit immediately or relaunch all apps.
- zoom button works better & correctly under all conditions.

For many years, the Atari 2600 reigned supreme as the most popular game console on the market.
Years later, Ataris stranglehold on the market would dissipate as the Nintendo Entertainment System redefined 8-bit gaming, but die-hard fans and collectors still continue to support the Atari.
One would think that the weak Atari 2600 should be simple to emulate, because of its primitive architecture.
It is very difficult to write a efficient and working emulator because the Atari programmers used many devious tricks to make such an early machine to function.
Enhancements
- Added CRT simulation effects as described in the AtariAge posting
- CRT emulation for Stella. For now, this requires OpenGL 2.0 or
- greater with support for GLSL (GL Shading Language). This code
- will be expanded on and optimized in future releases.
- Adding editing of extended RAM in the debugger RAM UI. The RAM
- spreadsheet now shows the entire address space of RAM in the
- system, in 128 byte increments. The first bank shown is zero-page,
- with the others following in consecutive order. The UI takes care
- of read vs. write port differences, so you dont have to worry
- about the offsets. For now, all SuperChip based ROMs (EFSC, F4SC,
- F6SC, F8SC) as well as 3E, CV, E7 and FASC are supported.
- All ROMs which include SC extended RAM will now have memory erased if
- you attempt to read from the write port. Related to this,
- entering/exiting the debugger will no longer erase the extended RAM.
- Patching of ROM for bankswitch types 0840, SB, UA and X07 is now
- implemented, but hasnt been extensively tested.
- Visual improvements to the CPU register UI in the debugger; the
- SP/A/X/Y registers now have separate decimal and binary views.
- Tweaked paddle control so that all positions are reachable in game
- 4 of Activision Casino in both NTSC and PAL versions.
- SuperCharger/AR ROMs now start with a random value in the CPU
- accumulator. This should fix issues with Dragonstomper always
- starting in exactly the same state.
- Auto-detection for 3F bankswitching improved; several ROMs
- previously detected as F8 now work correctly.
- Updated internal ROM properties database to ROM-Hunter version 5
- (thanks go to RomHunter for his tireless research in this area).
- Added -exitlauncher commandline argument and associated UI item,
- to specify what happens when you exit a ROM. Normally, exiting a
- ROM brings up the ROM launcher, but this can be disabled for those
- using an external frontend (in which case exiting a ROM also exits
- from Stella).
- Re-added -fastscbios commandline argument, and added an associated
- UI item. When enabled, the SuperCharger load bars are now completely
- removed (and not just sped up as in previous releases).
- The -listrominfo commandline argument now shows all ROM
- information built in to the internal database, taking into account
- any information in personal stella.pro files.
