Gimp.app is a self contained application bundle of the GNU Image Manipulation Program for Mac OS X. It requires Apples X11. Gimp.app is droppable, uses the gimp-print package built into OS X, and uses the systems default web browser for help and web browsing requests.

CinePaint is a free open source painting and image retouching program designed to work best with 35mm film and other high resolution high dynamic range images.

CinePaint was formerly called FilmGimp.
It has been used in a dozen feature films including Harry Potter, Scooby-Doo, and the Fast & the Furious.

CinePaint is a motion picture editing tool primarily used for painting and retouching of movie images.

Its application in feature movie productions includes the movies Scooby-Doo, Harry Potter, Stuart Little and Stuart Little 2. CinePaint is the most successful open source tool in feature motion picture work today.

Gimp Launcher can be used to launch Gimp if its installed through X11. Put it in the Dock or launch it with a QuicKeys or Spark shortcut. Save it as an Applescript application bundle and you can even include your own icon.

imgSeek is a photo collection manager and viewer with content-based search and many other features. The query is expressed either as a rough sketch painted by the user or as another image you supply (or an image in your collection). The searching algorithm will make use of multiresolution wavelet decomposition of the query and database images.

Main features:
- You simply draw a rough sketch of what you want to find and imgSeek displays for you a thumbnail view of the best matches.
- Query images similar to one in your collection by double-clicking on its thumbnail.
- Group your photos by similarity for easy browsing. You may also have them clustered automatically by color, date (group events automatically using an adaptive clustering algorithm for time differences), filename or image features.

pyglplot is an easy to use open source program to 3D-plot mathematical functions and data files.
pyglplot is written as a module for python and as such features the full power and flexibility of the python programming language.
The graphics is implemented using OpenGL and the Gimp Toolkit for X11.

It should compile and run everywhere where its prerequisites and requisites thereof are available. These are gtkglext-1.0 and gthread-2.0. Some minimum versions of the libriaries must be met, unfortunately, the gtk+-2.2 packages provided by fink for Mac OS X 10.3 are not sufficient.
