Free get busy again software for mac

Scan Again is a very useful tool if you have an older or used scanner that you want to use, and the manufacturer doesn’t have drivers for your operating system, one solution is to use the open-source SANE routines.

These were originally developed for Linux, but work on other operating systems, including Mac OS X.

I had this problem with an HP scanner I picked up at a rummage sale, and was able to get it to work using SANE. The trouble was that the SANE utilities are all command-line, and I got tired of typing.

I decided to make a GUI shell to interface with the command-line utilities, and I did this using RealBasic .

The resulting program runs the command-line utilities for you. It searches for scanners, putting the results into a pop-up at the top of the window ( see screen shot ).

It then interrogates the selected scanner for available options, and populates the spinners and pop-ups with the options available for the given scanner.

Requirements:
Mac OS X 10.1 or later.

Busy is a program that creates a fully customisable progress bar that does absolutely nothing.

So you can make it look as though youre doing something important, when youre actually just being lazy. Inspired by BusyBee and Look Busy.

Look Busy is a program to create a false progress box, so that you may look busy, hence the name.
Inspired by the application BusyBee.

Enhancements:
- Rewrote code to use "idle" handler in stead of "repeat".
- Added "Cancel" button.
- Cosmetic changes.
- Time input now done via steppers.
- Settings now saved on quit.
- Added "Preset Scenarios" menu which includes 3 user definable presets.

Get a Mac 1.0 is yet another great addition for Mac users. It is actually a very nice widget that allows you to see the "Get a Mac adds" from your dashboard.

Get Vers is a version data of command that allows you to get the version information of the specified file. Unlike version property in the Finder, this command returns the data in version type. The Mac OS X version also supports bundle (that includes package).

This osax also adds capability to coerce data of the version type to VersionProps type that is a record of properties.
That allows you to get properties of the version class that are not defined yet in AppleScript.

Requirements: Mac OS X 10.0 or later.

Get File Name and Container are two simple AppleScripts that enable you to parse the file name and containing folder from its path. These one-lined snippets can easily implemented into your own code!
