Free get album artwork software for mac

GetArtwork tries to find an album cover from allmusic.com for any selected iTunes song. Multiple selections are fine but only the first will be searched for. If no matching entries are found, the script will ask whether to close the Safari window.
Note: Due to limitations in iTunes AppleScript support of the browser, at least one song must be selected.
Suggested procedure:
1 place GetArtwork into "~/Library/iTunes/Scripts" - create the Scripts folder if necessary.
2 select all songs from a given album in iTunes
3 make sure, that artwork is displayed in iTunes
4 select "Get Artwork" from iTunes Script menu.
5 see what happens
6 if all goes well and the cover displayed in the Safari window is the one you wanted, click Accept and wait a few moments.
Enhancements:
- No longer closes the Safari window containing the artwork
- Makes iTunes the active application after finishing.

"Export iTunes Artwork" is an Automator action to export each artwork of iTunes songs to image files.

It comes with a few example Automator workflows to export the artwork of the currently playing song and to export one artwork cover for each album your iTunes library.

Before you can use this action, you need to import it into Automator: open the Automator application, select the Import Actions menu in the File menu. In the file dialog that appears, import the Export iTunes Artwork.action file (from the folder where this file is located).

A number of example workflows are included in the Example Artwork Export Workflows folder.

The Enjoy! Widget Album lets you play songs from Sexohol’s debut album on-demand, while perusing lyrics and band photos. It’s like having the real CD in you hand at the touch of a key!

If you have a copy of a given song locally (e.g. purchased from iTMS), clever widget elves find it in your iTunes directory. Otherwise they connect you to a streaming version (if you’re online). If you keep your Sexohol songs in a special place, you can tell the widget elves where to go by dragging that folder onto the back of the widget.

Other features include volume control, play-mode selector and quick-link to Enjoy! on the iTMS.

Album Shaper strives to be the most friendly, easy to use, open source application for organizing, annotating, rotating, cropping, enhancing, stylizing, and sharing your digital photos the way you want to.
Album Shaper supports open formats like XML, JPEG, and XSLT.
Enhancements:
- Album Shaper has changed radically since the last version. Importing photos is several times faster. So is rotating and flipping photos, and its now lossless (meaning image quality never degrades) too! Lots and lots of bugs have been fixed, especially after an entire month of solid testing by over 18 dedicated beta testers. Internationalization support has improved leaps and bounds, impart thanks to the new help system that comes with this release. But most importantly, the photo editing side of Album Shaper has been completely rewritten. The Export Photo Album for Web script makes it easy to create photo albums for the web. You can either select the pictures to publish in iPhoto or drag images to the scripts icon. It requires Creator 6.5.4 or greater and optionally iPhoto.

Album Art For The Rest of Us 1.0 is regarded as a nice and easy to use screensaver. With the release of iTunes 7, album artworks are a minor rage. While Tiger ships with an album art screesaver, Panther doesn't. This screensaver is an attempt to fill the Panther void.

Note: The screensaver needs iTunes to be running. If iTunes is not running, it will be automatically started when the screensver starts.
