Fire is a drag&drop FTP upload widget. It has a nice interface and runs nicely. So say hello to Fire.
Fire Widget is a nice and easy-to-use tool - justdrop a file, the gate slides up, the file gets transfered, and you are done. With Fire, you can:
- Upload files to FTP servers
- Open the uploaded files in your bowser
- Copy the files URLs into your pasteboard
- Save servers and the servers path, password and username
You can use Fire perfectly for:
- Fast uploading of files to your server, because no FTP client starts up as fast as Fire does.
- Replacing std uploading services like rapidshare
- Using instead of IM transfers

GetaBlitch Jr. is a sequenced gate effect that is different from traditional "trance gates" in two significant ways: first, it uses MIDI to sequence the gate, rather than a built-in step sequencer; second, it gates the left and right channels of a stereo signal independently and potentially simultaneously.

GetaBlitch Jr. stops audio from passing through until it receives one of two user-defined MIDI notes.
These may be programmed as a MIDI part, or played live. This stopping and starting of the audio is referred to as "gating".

In addition to simply "opening" and "closing" the gate, the MIDI messages allow you to control the amplitude of the audio being passed through. With a note velocity of 127 (the maximum MIDI velocity), your audio will pass through at its original volume. Any other velocity will lower the volume of the signal by a scaled amount.

PeekIt 2.6.2 is a professional tool with a suite of advanced features targeted at browsing any file on your system, and making small hex-level changes. Very very handy for verifying the contents of files you are writing out from your own applications without doing extra work yourself.

Also handy for snooping around in other people's files for ideas. You can also modify your hit points in Balders Gate, but anyway... Note: Most of the source code is included with the application, select "View PeekIt Source" from the Window menu.
