- First Mac desktop application officially certified by eBay for bidding: GarageBuy is the first Mac desktop application officially certified by eBay for bidding and purchasing items on its auctioning platform.
- Gallery List View: Are you looking for a special piece of clothing or furniture? With GarageBuy, the days when you needed to open every promising auction to see more than a single picture are over. GarageBuy's Gallery List shows you the most relevant pictures from as many auctions as fit on your screen.
- Saved Searches: GarageBuy will save both your searches and found auctions on your Mac's hard drive. For each search, GarageBuy will show the number of the auctions you haven't viewed yet. You can set GarageBuy to hide already viewed items. You can flag items and add them to your watch list, too.
- Visual Tracking of Watched Auctions: For every watched auction GarageBuy shows you if you bid on it and whether you are the highest bidder and of course you can see with one glance how much time is left on the auction. The icon of the auction tells you if there's an iCal event for it and if it has already met your threshold.
- iCal Integration: GarageBuy integrates perfectly with iCal. For every Watched Auction GarageBuy can automatically create an iCal event with reminder if you choose to do so. Since the iCal calendar database is a fundamental Mac OS feature, events get synched to your mobile devices or other Macs if you have mobileMe. This way you will not miss the end of an auction.
- Growl Support: GarageBuy supports the free Growl notification system to display on-screen messages whenever a new item is found or the bid for watched auctions changes.
