Focus 2.6
Focus - Shows frontmost application icon more>>
You take a look at the Dock, but nothing gives away the frontmost application. You see a couple of them are running, but which one will quit if your itching fingers hit command-Q? You can always look at the menu, of course, but wouldnt it be easier to see an icon instead of just text?
All Focus does, is show you the active applications icon. Because its function is that simple, Ive thrown in the usual junk of customizability: size, transparency, position on screen and window layering can all be adjusted to your needs.
Enhancements:
- If autohiding is on, Focus will now also hide itself if the mouse comes near it during a drag operation.
- The separators of the time will blink in the digital clock if the seconds are not shown.

Update Finder Front Window comes as a little AppleScript program which can tell the Finder to update its front-most window. more>>
Update Finder Front Window 1.0 comes as a little AppleScript program which can tell the Finder to update its front-most window. It is very useful when you work with image files and programs that add custom icons to files.
For instance, if you use GraphicConverter to rotate your pictures, their icons will be rotated as well, but the Finder is not going to see the change until you restart it. That's what Update Finder Front Window is for: it tells the finder to update its icons in the frontmost window.

- RMF will not alter the creator code of your text files. You can still edit your BBEdit, SimpleText etc files with it, and those files will still have their parent apps icon etc. However, you can easily switch between RMF and SimpleText for the creator of any file.
- RMF supports drag and drop. Drag files onto the app icon to open them (if theyre text files or read-only text files). Drag selected text out of a text window to make a clipping, or to move it into another app. Drag text clippings into a text window to insert their text at the point where you drop them.
