Front End Digital Media Player is a play list based multimedia playback and presentation software package for QuickTime supported media.
Front End Digital Media Player allows you to quickly and easily create play lists of images movies and sounds, up to 99 files.
Save and reload play lists of your favorite items. Choose from three playback modes including full screen for multimedia presentation.
A shuttle control provides fast and slow motion forward and reverse playback of sound andmovie files. You can also mark in and out points on sound and movie files to play only the parts you want. A snapshot button allows you to grab movie frames to images.
The standard adjustable volume, balance and treble controls are also included. All of this and more in an intuitive interface that remembers your settings.
Some of the supported play back formats include: mp4, mov, aiff, 3gp, 3gp2, wav, avi (basic codecs), jpeg, pict, bmp, tiff and much more.

Front Row Realistic Skin is a tool that changes icons in Apple Front Row to real photos of items for each category.

The items include headphones for music, minolta SLR for photos, and a Sony handycam for videos.

Simply drag and drop the new icons in the supplied folder. The Read Me explains in further detail how to install.

Line End Changer changes Macintosh style line endings (carriage return, ASCII 13) to Unix style line endings (line feed, ASCII 10) in a plain text file.

As written, it is set up to do the conversion for Web Star log files, but can be easily modified to handle any plain text file you want to convert.

Requirements: Mac OS X 10.5 or later. May work on 10.4, but this is untested.

NotLight is a simple Spotlight front-end substitute.
I wrote this because I got sick and tired of Tigers lousy Spotlight interface. (How lousy is it? The magnifying-glass menu is a fake menu; it behaves oddly, and doesnt show all the matches. The Spotlight window looks like something from the Windows world: it works like a web browser, you cant easily navigate it with the keyboard, you have to keep pressing the "i" buttons just to learn where a file is, and so on. The Finder window requires that you jump through all sorts of hoops just to find a file by name. Worst of all, none of these front ends give you access to the real power of Spotlight: they automatically do wildcard searches, they dont let you do exact searches, they dont let you specify case-sensitivity or word-based searches, and they dont let you construct complex boolean searches with AND, OR, and NOT - or if they do, it isnt clear how.)
So I wrote this substitute, in order to access the real Spotlight.
This front end is very simple: the only searches you can do are filename and content. But you can use wildcards or not, specify word-based, case-insensitive, and diacritic-insensitive searches, and construct complex searches with AND, OR, and NOT. Youre shown the actual search query in Spotlights native query language. Results are a simple list of filename and paths.
Enhancements:
- Added ability to view file sizes in the Results listing.
- Added support for CocoaTech Path Finder.
- Interface tweaks: all checkboxes and operator popup are reset in accordance with search key popup selection; additional attributes reorderably by drag and drop
- Massive code cleanup, many small bug fixes.

The Reveal File of Front SD Window script is designed to run from Script Debuggers script menu, script palette or, if assigned, a keystroke. When executed, the enclosing folder of the file related to the front most window in SD is opened and the file is selected.
