Freemind is mind mapping software. You can use it for writing essays or conducting experiments. It is also useful for finances, projects, and just organizing your thoughts and plans.
Main features:
- Keeping track of projects, including subtasks, state of subtasks and time recording
- Project workplace, including links to necessary files, executables, source of information and of course information
- Workplace for internet research using Google and other sources
- Keeping a collection of small or middle sized notes with links on some area which expands as needed. Such a collection of notes is sometimes called knowledge base.

For example, different medical records use different structure and you do not have to analyze all the possible structures before you enter the first medical record.

Enhancements:
- Fully functional following of HTML links stored in the nodes, be it www links or links to local files.
- From very early versions, Freemind supports folding which is its essential property.
- Fast one-click navigation, including folding / unfolding on one click and following links on one click at the same time (you dont have to make choice between fast following of links and fast fold/unfold). You can move the map by dragging the maps background as well as using mouse wheel.

FreeMind 0.9.0_RC_3 is designed as an ideal tool for editing Mind maps, XML/HTML documents, and directory trees. In future, even network-structures will be supported such as Topic Maps (ISO). All this data is represented to the user as a Mind map.

This is achived with a modular design, which makes it possible to easily write modules, only designing the model of the problem (the data structure), without caring for the visual representation at all. Currently a Mind Mapping and a File Mode are implemented.

PRICE is a high-quality image manipulation and enhancement application.
PRICE was born to support my research in image processing. So I have decided to work on a usable application that can open several file formats and apply high quality filters and other enhancements to the image.
Enhancements:
- the image representation is now a PRImage class which allows to access some fieds without fetching the TIFF image represetnation. This yeilds some speed up in some stages, like when fetching the original dimensions.
- the 5x5 convolution engine now works in color mode (separate RGB channels) too

VideoSpec 0.8.0 proves itself as a good and free AppleScript studio App (Xcode 3.0 on Leopard) making use of MediaInfo CLI, MPlayer, FFmpeg, qt_tools and AtomicParsley binaries to display detailed informations on video files.

Compatibility of analyzed media file with QuickTime Player v.7.6 is provided with indication on the installation status of the displayed QuickTime Component and its download link as well as compatibility with iPod/iPhone/AppleTV.
