When you input telephone numbers into a contact record, Microsoft Entourage will not automatically format the number even though you have selected that option in Preferences, unless you enter exactly seven or ten digits with no other characters.
This is deliberate, to allow the entry of numbers in formats other than your default format, such as numbers for other countries. It is annoying, however, because telephone numbers that are copied from mail messages or even simply mistyped the first time they are entered cannot be reformatted, except manually. This script meets the need for automated reformatting on demand.

Damage Isolation (get it?) is a little app to ease the process of converting apples Disk Image (.DMG) files to a more world-readable .ISO file, for sharing amongst windows, linux, and versions of MacOS prior to OS X. It also adds a few little features to make things ever easier.
It is freeware, and has only been tested on Panther, but should work on any version of OS X.
Main features:
- Compress .ISO with gZip
- This option will toggle weather or not Damage Isolation compresses your image after it is converted, using the gZip compressor.
- Quit When Finished
- Checking this box will make Damage Isolation quit automatically after the successful conversion of an image.
- Compression Quality
- This pulldown menu sets the compression level of gZip. It is not used if Compress .ISO with gZip is unchecked. A higher number will compress files better, but require more time to complete.
- Verbose Mode
- This option, when turned on, will display information as Damage Isolation works with your image, such as, its size.
