FFT for OSX 1.9.9b6
Alternative traceroute program. more>>
FFT is an alternative traceroute program for displaying the route packets take to an IP network host. Unlike Van Jacobsons traceroute, which is available on almost every platform today, FFT uses TCP in order to elicit ICMP TIME_EXCEEDEDs or TCP_RST.
As a result, FFT often executes much faster and sees behind some configurations of packet- filter based firewalls. FFT has been around since 1998, but this is its first release on Darwin/MacOSX.

Term for 1.0b1
Term for - Extract human-readable terminology from raw codes more>>
Term for is a scripting addition that looks up the user terminology for a value. Useful for example to get month and day-of-week names of a date.
The addition builds the source of an AppleScript script containing what you pass in. Although it looks like you can pass in a variety of things, what actually arrives is either four or 8 bytes, which the addition treats as a string.
Note that this Scripting Addition is not necessary if you have Script Debugger, since you can write a script which uses Script Debugger to build and compile the necessary script, and dig the term out of the re-written script or the result of running the script.

All Your Base Are Belong to Us (Mac) is a very serviceable tool which is designed specially for mature audiences only.
The stories you are about to see will forever change your life and will affect the way you look at things you had previously taken for granted.
What you are about to see is photographic proof of a conspiracy so large and so complicated that the depth to which society is involved and the complete story behind the facts are still unknown.

View Your Mind 1.9.0
VYM (View Your Mind) is a tool to generate and manipulate maps which show your thoughts more>>
VYM (View Your Mind) is a tool to generate and manipulate maps which show your thoughts. Such maps are able to help you improve your creativity and effectivity. You can use them for time management, to organize tasks, to get an overview over complex contexts, to sort your ideas etc.
Maps can be drawn by hand on paper or a flip chart and help to structure your thoughs. While a tree like structure like shown on this page can be drawn by hand or any drawing software vym offers much more features to work with such maps.
vym is not another drawing software, but a tool to store and modify information in an intuitive way. For example you can reorder parts of the map by pressing a key or add various information like a complete email by a simple mouse click.
A map can concentrate a very complex content on little space e.g. a piece of paper. It helps to use both sides of your brain: the logical side and also your creative side (e.g. by using pictures, colors and keywords in a map, so called anchors). It is a technique to organize the way you think: It can help you by developing, sorting and memorizing your thoughts.
Because you just use keywords and drawings, it is much faster than good old fashioned notes. Your brain memorizes things by associating them to other things -- a map makes use of those connections and stimulates new asccociations.
vym is designed to make changes in the map very easy: e.g. if you use it for time management, just move a task to another place or recolor it by a simple mouse click in order to assign it to another day in the week or to give it a new priority.
There are lots of webpages (see e.g. the Wikepedia links below) and also books out there, providing lots of information on working with maps.
Enhancements:
Features:
- Opening of tabs in Firefox or Mozilla
- Documentation is up to date now

tickr for flickr 1.1
tickr for flickr - scrolls flickr search results down the desktop more>>
tickr for flickr is a way to enjoy images from flickr as they slowly glide down the coveted space on the right-hand side of your desktop. Essentially, tickr just scrolls images, until flickr runs out of images to show you which match the tags youve specified. In many cases, this is a really, really, really long time.
Ive tried to make tickr as simple to use as possible; at the most basic level, just move the mouse cursor into the tickr window, type in a tag, and wait for images to show up. Thats nice, and tags like "penguins", "fish", or "bears" can be pretty relaxing. To narrow down your search, you can add additional tags by separating the tags with spaces, e.g., "emperor penguins", "tropical fish", "koala bears". If youre looking for something that has a space in the name, such as San Francisco or jumbo shrimp, flickrs tag system works by stripping out spaces, so type "sanfrancisco" or "jumboshrimp". (Hint: its probably best to try both "san francisco" and "sanfrancisco" if you really want to see everything, because people seem to tag images both ways.)
But you probably want to know a little more about the images youre seeing, so you can point to them with your mouse and see the title the photographer gave the image, the tags which people have given the image, and the original images size in pixels. If you double-click the image, its flickr page will open in your web browser.
Enhancements:
- The position of tickrs window is now configurable. You can position the window on the right, left, or bottom sides of your desktop, and by desktop, I mean all of the displays which are connected to your Mac.
- The size of tickrs window is now configurable. Choose from Tiny, Small, Medium, and Large window sizes. tickr will scale photos appropriately for your window size. Using a smaller window size is a great way to improve performance on older Macs.
- The window level of tickrs window is now configurable. You can choose between Always in Front, Normal, or Always Behind. tickrs window can be made Semi-transparent, Mostly Transparent or Opaque (in other words, just like a normal window).
- Search types are available in Photos > Search in the main menu bar.
- Using Photos > Sort you can order your search results By Date Taken, By Date Posted, By Interestingness (the default), or By Relevance.
