Royal Flush 1.2.1 is an arcade game mimicsing the classic "Royal Flush" machine first appeared in arcades way back in 1976. The graphics are entirely based on the original table and the sound effects come straight from the old school: you can even hear the silver ball rolling on the wood-paneled table. You can customize settings such as incline, tilt sensitivity, flipper power, and set it for three- or five-ball play. Check out this pinball sim and take a trip to the arcades of yore.

Fix Up 4D 1.0.1

Fix Up 4D 1.0.1

Fix Up 4D - Enhance, improve, and correct the 4D development and runtime environment more>>
Fix Up 4D (FU4D) is a set of 4D Extensions which enhance, improve, and correct the 4D development and runtime environment. 4D Extensions allow for the actual 4D environment to be patched, repaired, and improved. FU4D provides a comprehensive basis of individual improvements to the 4D environment which all 4D developers can take advantage of immediately.
The documents included in the FU4D package all work independently of each other and there is no requirement that any combination of them be used at any time. This makes it simple for the developer to choose which improvements in particular benefit development and only install the 4D extension documents in FU4D package which are most useful.
FU4D works with both 4th Dimension and 4D Client, as long as the FU4D documents are in the 4D Extensions folder next to the currently running 4D based application.
Main features:
FU4D_Explorer.4XR:
- Vertical splitter has been added next to hierarchical listing;
- Object method added to twiddle to allow for proper resizing of collapsing form with respect to the new splitter;
FU4D_Find.4XR:
- Enterable area has been widened to more easily accommodate longer search strings; the wrapping of longer search strings now occurs at approximately 40 characters instead of the default 25 characters;
- Form has been widened to accommodate widened enterable area;
- Popup selection defaults to All when form opens; this is obviously the most used option in the Find form;
- Previous search string is selected when form opens; no more need to select the previous search results by selecting the text, instead developer can just start typing to replace the selected search string;
- Get Frontmost Window Name button added just to the left of the enterable area; this puts the name of the current frontmost window into the enterable search area; great for doing searches throughout structure when currently editting a method or form;
FU4D_Find_Results.4XR:
- Sort button added to top of form allows search results to be sorted; the sorting of the search results is done alphabetically from the result names found;
FU4D_Menus.4XR:
- Command-W is no longer the default Flush Buffers catch; it is now Command- ;
- Method Properties... menu item is available with Command-; keyboard equivalent;
- Form Properties... menu item is available with Command-; keyboard equivalent;
- Find... menu item is available with Command-I keyboard equivalent;
- NOTE: on Windows, all command key equivalents are available as Control key equivalents.

Arduino 0007

Arduino 0007

Arduino - a tool that will help you write code and upload it to the i/o board more>>
easy to write code and upload it to the i/o board.
It runs on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. The environment is written in Java and based on Processing, avr-gcc, and other open source software.
NOTE: If you have an older Mac, like a Powerbook, iBook, G4, or G5, download the PPC distribution. If you have a newer Mac, like a MacBook, MacBook Pro, or Mac Pro, download the Intel distribution.
Enhancements:
- Smaller core (about 3.5 KB instead of 4.5 KB).
- Added a SoftwareSerial library (thanks to Antonio, Heather Dewey-Hagborg, and bigengineer for their help).
- Implemented a Serial.flush() routine; see reference for details.
- Digital pins 0 and 1 can be used for i/o until a call to Serial.begin().
- Replaced avr-libs uart routines with custom code for handling serial communication and modified C++ serial commands to call the C serial commands; the code may behave slightly differently in border cases (e.g. non-standard speeds, or on overflow).
- Added attachInterrupt() and detachInterrupt() functions for handling of external interrupts on pins 2 and 3.
- Implemented shiftOut() routine; see reference for details.
- Defining binary constants: e.g. B1010 is 6.
- Mac versions no longer require running of the macosx_setup.command script.
- Windows version comes with the FTDI USB drivers already unzipped.
- New Linux binary distribution (still requires some programs to be pre-installed).

CLIX 2.0.0.5

CLIX 2.0.0.5

CLIX is a simple yet efficient program which gets the power of a command line without ever getting near it. more>>

CLIX 2.0.0.5 is a simple yet efficient program which gets the power of a command line without ever getting near it. Do all those things your system maintenance utilities try to do - but do them better and do them your own way. No typing - just 'clix'.

You have to perform maintenance routines. You know that. But make a mistake - especially in one of those glittery AppleScript apps - and what happens? You'll have no such fear with CLIX. CLIX is safer - and for the skilled professional safer than even Terminal. From almost every security standpoint.

CLIX: the Command Line Interface for OS X. Access to the full power of your operating system. Your computer runs smoother. You learn more, become better and more skilled at running it. CLIX makes it easier for beginners to get up to speed with their new system. For the professional developer or system administrator it's an indispensable tool - a work of reference used by universities around the globe, NASA, the US military, and scientific institutions everywhere. Univert 0.2.1

Univert 0.2.1

Univert - Universal Unicode converter more>> Univert - Universal Unicode converter

Univert is a Universal Unicode Converter, at least as universal as the Unicode implementation in Tcl 8.1 or later can manage on your computer.
Univert will convert interchangably between the following formats:
- Unicode - Native Apple Unicode.
- Hex - Hex bytes or words separated by spaces.
- Decimal - Decimal bytes or words separated by spaces.
- Entity - HTML entities, (eg )
- UTF-8/URL - Unicode URL.
- Printable - Quoted printable, using whatever the current encoding is.
- String - C string, using whatever the current encoding is.
Feel free to suggest other formats, if theyre not obvious itll be best if you can provide a reference for them.
The special encoding "none" allows you to generate raw Unicode strings. The
"quoted printable" format is not meaningful for raw Unicode strings containing
characters outside the range 0..255: use UTF-8 or an 8-bit character set. The
only use for this setting is to generate "C" strings for a native-unicode
environment.
You may need to tweak the fonts to get your Unicode text showing properly. If
you know a trick to automatically adjust the font for the character range, let
me know. Tcl doesnt return an error if it cant find a character, so I cant
do a trap on update to flush out failures. :(
Enhancements
- Got way confused about encoding unicode entities like ?? ... fixed.

Memory Hog 1.0 delivers new and enriched capabilities designed to eat memory and allocate memory to itself in "chunks" every second while told to do so. You can start and stop the memory allocation process, and you can reclaim all the used memory back whenever you want. You could use this tool to flush all other applications out of real RAM, or to test virtual memory performance. It's just something interesting to play with. Source code is included.

loopBlock 1.1b

loopBlock 1.1b

loopBlock - Domain name or IP address blocking using /etc/hosts file more>>
loopBlock will let an administrative user on a local computer (running Mac OS 10.2 or later) declare certain domain names, and IP addresses "blocked". This will disallow the users on the system access to any network or computer listed.
This program modifies the "/etc/hosts" file, adding domain names or IP addresses to the list of hosts in the file. These domain names, or addresses are set to route to the "loopback" address on the machine. This will cause any lookup of a name listed in loopBlock to route to the local machine. At that point, the machine will either access services on the local computer (eg. personal web sharing). This way, the administrator can set up a "restricted access" index.html page to let other users know that they cannot access the requested name or address (this may be implemented in possible future versions).
To use the program, enter domain names, or IP addresses of computers that should be "blocked". Push the return key, or press the "Block" button to add the name to the list. You must push the "Save" button to apply the settings. This is where an administrative name or password is needed to save the list.
This software has an import function that will allow the user to import entries from a Comma Delimited Text File (.CSV). Select "Import" from under the "File" menu, and select the file that contains the data you wish to import.
The program will let the user flush the lookupd cache. This option is available in "Preferences" under the "loopBlock" menu. This helps in some instances, because Mac OS X consults that cache before the configuration files that loopBlock modifies (/etc/hosts).
Enhancements:
- Bux fix: no longer assigns incorrect permissions when replacing hosts file
- Added import option under file menu.
- Added function that flushes lookupd cache.
