Apollo allows web developers to work with the development tools of their choice and the approaches they find most comfortable to build web content and Apollo applications.

Apollo allows web developers to extend their web-based applications to the desktop without learning traditional desktop development technologies or the complexity of native code.

Applications developed for Apollo will run across multiple operating systems without any additional work, and Apollo applications can be built quickly because developers will leverage their existing web development skills and design patterns.

The final release of Apollo developer tools and the Apollo application runtime will be available after the pre-release cycle is complete, expected later this year. Apollo will be provided free of charge.

Enhancements:

• Added option that lets you import a list of Filenames and URLs to download instead of having to enter them all in one at a time. You can either import from a txt file or by copying and pasting
• Clicking the "Begin Downloading" button while still editing a cell no longer counts that cell as empty (which would give you an error that confused many people). It now will finish editing that cell for you and begin downloading
• Now makes sure that the Filename column has no empty cells before downloading
• Updated Help Book to include information about Importing and other small changes

The 9.5 update for CodeWarrior Development Studio for Mac OS Version 9 is a maintenance release of the CodeWarrior Development Studio for Mac OS tools. The 9.5 update includes bug fixes to the IDE, C/C++ compiler and MSL. The 9.5 update is for compatibility with Mac OS X 10.4. It also contains prior Version 9 updates to the IDE, Debugger, MSL, Windows Support, PowerPlant, and PowerPlant X. The release notes contain details for each of these changed components.

This update should only be applied to registered users of: CodeWarrior Development Studio for Mac OS Version 9.0, 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, or 9.4

There are two versions of the 9.5 update installer for you to choose from.

Option one: You can download the full 9.5 update installer here. It is a complete, self-contained installer containing a complete set of rebuilt libraries.

Option two: You can download the 9.5 web update installer here. The web update installer is small and downloads the 9.5 update items from the Metrowerks ftp server as you need them. You can use the web installer to update your system without downloading the rebuilt libraries and save some download time. However, if you elect to not install libraries, you must manually rebuild the MSL and runtime libraries on your machine after installing the update.
