Strain Simulator 1.0.1 offers a simple, stable and fast multimedia program for visualizing linear transformations in 3D. The source code is included. Strain Simulator is specifically designed to help students of structural geology, where linear transformation (under the name homogeneous deformation) is used as a simple model of finite strain in rock. The matrix representing a homogeneous deformation is called its finite strain matrix; the principal function of Strain Simulator is to demonstrate how changes in this matrix correspond to changes in rock deformation.

iPhone Simulator is designed to allow you to layout a website and view it as a user would see it on an iPhone. To view a page, just drop its html file (or a .webloc or URL) into the window, and it will load and display.

You will be able to toggle the keyboard up and down (in portrait mode) via command-K. To rotate the simulator, press command-T, and to refresh the currently loaded page, command-R.

The forward/back navigation buttons are functional, although their status will not
update.

Only tested on OS X 10.4.7 but should run on earlier versions of MacOS X as well.

Headings Calculator displays associated magnetic headings (45, 90, 135, 180, 225, 270, 315 and 360 degrees) based on user input.

I originally created this application for use while flying X-Plane (the worlds FINEST flight simulator for Mac OS and Windows).

This applications was created using RealBasic 2006 which, in my humble and inexperienced opinion, is the best rapid development environment for Mac OS.

The PDP-8/E Simulator is an emulator for the Digital Equipment Corporation PDP-8/E minicomputer, a famouse computer of the early 1970 years. The simulator, first released 1994, provides a comfortable user interface for running, writing and debugging PDP-8 software on a Mac and to learn about the internal functioning of a computer.
It has a console with switches and flashing lights enabling the user to operate the PDP-8 like a hardware machine. Maybe the simulator is of interest for a larger audience using it for educational purposes or as a remembrance to the good old time of the computer age.
The simulator and its source code are published under the GNU General Public License.
Enhancements:
- The version 1.5 release includes a TSC8-75 board that enables the emulated PDP-8/E to run the ETOS time sharing operating system.
- Compared to the version 1.5 public beta, there are only minor user interface and Panther compatibility improvements.

SigmaPi Neural Network Simulator 1.3 is an innovative and versatile utility which is designed for time-series processing and neural network research. It uses the LSTM neuron model, the RTRL training algorithm and a heuristic learning rate adaptation based on local update sign-changes. SigmaPi is no end-user software. It allows the user to change every possible network parameter, and it won't tell you whether a setting is nonsense or not. To use SigmaPi, you should know how a recurrent neural network works and how a LSTM neuron processes information (the manual contains a schematic, since the LSTM neuron of SigmaPi differs slightly from other implementations). This is an installer for SigmaPi 1.3
