The Finder Tools package contains 7 scripts to help automate the following: Activate/Hide Apps, Close All Windows, Close Win/Hide Apps, Duplicate Files, Duplicate Folders, Open Folders and Unmount/Eject All disks. Descriptions of the scripts are included.

finder quit will fix a problem in MacOS 8 which occasionally occurs after mounting an AppleShare volume. Occasionally you will see the desktop icons dissappear and only reappear after selecting them all.
But even after they appear you will be unable to drag a file to another folder or volume.
finder quit fixes this problem by allowing you to restart the Finder.
