Start Find Gates and youll see a picture taken at the Apple campus.

Look very closely for a few seconds and youll be surprised.

I created this small app just for the fun of it, to break the monotony of the normal day to day coding routine.

Feel free to change the images and/or sound in the resources.

Fax Find 0.7 offers you a convenient fax searching utility for FAXstf X Pro faxeswhich is written in Java-Cocoa initially using eclipse then in Apples Xcode. This application is released under the GPL and in the unlikely event this application causes damage to your computer, files, kills your dog etc. please remember this is alpha software.

Find A Word is a word game. There are five turns to a game and each turn lasts 30, 60 or 90 seconds, selectable by the user; a countdown is displayed to let you know when the end of the turn is near. When you click the "Start Game" button, you will see three vowels and five consonants in the Letter Pot field. Your goal is to make as many words as you can from these letters.
Enter Your Word and click on the "Enter" button (or press the Return key). To be accepted, a word must be made from the Letter Pot letters, be included in the Find A Word dictionary (no proper names, contractions or abbreviations) and be unique (not used before in this turn). If you do not want to wait until the end of the turn, click the "Start Turn" button to continue through your five turns. The "End Game" button clears all words and scoring. You get ten points for each word plus one point for each letter in the word. If you find 30 words before the end of a turn, the turn ends and you get 200 bonus points plus a time bonus (1/10/100 points per unused second for 90/60/30 seconds per turn).
At the end of five turns, your Total Score will be compared to the top ten scores. If your score is within the ten top scores, your name, score, number of turns that you received a bonus and your Time per Turn will be added to the High Scores table. The High Scores window can be accessed at any time from the menu bar. You can edit a name in the High Scores window by double-clicking a name, typing a new name, and pressing the "Enter" button.
The Find A Word dictionary includes over 80,000 words. You can add/subtract words using the Word Maintenance window accessed from the menu bar. When you first launch the Find A Word program, the default dictionary is saved to your hard drive. Changes (additions or deletions) are saved automatically and the revised dictionary is loaded at the beginning of the next session. You can click the "Use Default Word Set" button at any time. Warning: Clicking this button will overwrite your revised dictionary immediately. If you want to improve your play skills, you can find a list of words that could be made from your Letter Pot letters by selecting Improve Skills under the Help menu and following the steps. Sound can be turned on/off.
A Help window is available. This game was written in REALbasic and is freeware.

Easy Find is an alternative to, or supplement of, Sherlock and it finds files, folders or contents in any file without the need for indexing -- and therefore immediately.

This is especially useful if you are tired of slow or impossible indexing, outdated or corrupted indices or if you are just looking for missing features like case sensitive or insensitive search, boolean operators, wildcards or searching for phrases.

In addition, EasyFind uses multithreading and is therefore very responsive even with multiple search processes running, provides contextual menus and Mac OS X services and displays the location of each item in a separate column for a better overview.

Finally EasyFind uses little memory, supports drag-and-drop and the clipboard and optionally finds invisible items or items within packages.

Find Family is an AppleScript droplet that when provided with a file will output all other files with the same creator code.

This is most useful for finding files when "uninstalling" a program because you can find all the documents and preference files created by the application (if it set the creator type correctly).
