Indexer for Personal Web Sharing is an AppleScript that can be used for creating html index files for any chosen root folder.

The script will create an index.html file for each subfolder (which contains links to items in that folder) and another index file in the root folder that has links to every file listed in each index.html file.

The script can be compiled into an applet that creates a file called "index.html" in each subfolder of the root folder that is dragged onto it. These index.html files contain active links for the items in the corresponding folder. In the root folder is also created a file called fullindex.html which contains active links for every file listed in all the individual index.html files.

Because Personal web sharing serves the index.html file as the default file for a directory by default, this script can be used to insure that only the desired files will appear in the browser window for that directory.

Apple Text Preview 1.0 gives you the power to show previews of documents in the Open dialog box, allowing you to get a glimpse of what is in the file without having to open it. This ability requires the use of system extensions. With the Text Preview extension installed, you can see a preview of certain text files, including ClarisWorks word processing documents.

Delete Files Now 1.2 is designed as a smart and useful plug-in for the Contextual Menu Manager in Mac OS 8. When you control-click on any file or selection of files in the Finder, either a Delete File Now or Delete Selection Now menu item will appear in the contextual menu's pop-up box. Choose this item to immediately delete files without having to put them in the Trash. This saves you the additional step of emptying the trash to free up memory.

iShow Invisible 1.4.1 is a handy utility which will allow you to show and hide easily the invisible files via a repeating dialog box. After you have revealed the invisible files, simply move the Hide dialog box out of your way or press Command-H to send it to the background. Any open folders should remain open when you change the visibility. This makes it easier if you have several folders open and want to view the invisible files.

compileAndGo 4.3 is a flexible helper program which allows you to execute source code files written in a compiled language (such as Java or C++) as if they were written in an interpreted scripting language. The source files must have the compileAndGo #! header at the top and must have file execute permission. The source is automatically compiled, and the binary executable is cached out of sight.

ShowHide Files is an application I made to cause Finder to show Unix files and other hidden files. For those who know what to touch and not to in these files this app will help when you need to get to hidden files without going through Terminal.

ShowHide Files changes some of Finders hidden preferences and restarts Finder if you want it to. This causes finder to show the files that have been hidden.

If you touch some of the files that are revealed with this application you may render your computer inoperable so be careful. I am not responsible for any of the results from this product.

iTunes Library Cleaner is a small AppleScript that removes deleted iTunes references.

This script removes dead links to files that have been deleted but that are still in your iTunes library.
