A P2P application that allows you to share directories with other computers on a LAN or VPN. Other hosts running p300 are automatically discovered using IP Multicast. Bandwidth limiting is supported. You can configure which hosts may access your shared directories. You can use an integrated browser and download manager to download files from other p300 programs on your network, or use your Web browser. You can also use WebDAV to mount the directories from other computers in your Finder. A search function is available. A chat is also integrated.

The script will create an index.html file for each subfolder (which contains links to items in that folder) and another index file in the root folder that has links to every file listed in each index.html file.
The script can be compiled into an applet that creates a file called "index.html" in each subfolder of the root folder that is dragged onto it. These index.html files contain active links for the items in the corresponding folder. In the root folder is also created a file called fullindex.html which contains active links for every file listed in all the individual index.html files.
Because Personal web sharing serves the index.html file as the default file for a directory by default, this script can be used to insure that only the desired files will appear in the browser window for that directory.

Samba Sharing is not meant to access windows computers. OS X 10.2 has features for this itself. You can also use the shareware product Sharity from Objective Development to access the Windows-network.
