Open Media Toolkit 2.5.0 is a distinguished and tractable C++ framework for MacOS X and Windows which is very useful for the development of real time 2D/3D multimedia applications.

Several commercial applications have been developed using OMT, including games from Disney, Hasbro, Mattel, Scitex, HumanCode, etc.

OMT includes classes for 2D/3D rendering and animation (through DirectX, OpenGL or its own software renderer), sound, files, database, windowing, user-interface, media importer (3D and 2D), input control, etc. It is an open source product released under the LGPL licence.

If you are on a tight budget, listings include used pricing and whether you can trade for it.

I wrote this program to help me prep for med school interviews. The best way to prepare for an interview is with mock interviews. This program will pepper you with questions typical of those you would be asked in an average med school interview. Not only that but it will speak them outlowd, simulating the audio experience of being interviewed! If you would like to change the questions that Interviewer asks, right (control) click on the Interviewer application and select Show Package Contents. Then open the Contents file, and then Resource file in the finder window that appears. You should see a file questions.txt. Each line of text in this file is a questions that Interview will pose to you. Enjoy!

Going To School 1.1 has come as a free program with which students are shown a line graph (time versus distance) of a person's journey from home to school. After studying the graph students use the mouse to move a little person around an on-screen map so that the little person's time and position match that shown on the graph. This program was written to help students in grades 7 through 9 interpret line graphs.
