Using advanced algorithms, Photomatix Pro combines differently exposed shots into one image with increased dynamic range.
- Blend exposures hassle-free
- Generate an HDR image from multiple exposures
- Reveal details in highlights and shadows in HDR image
Designed for professional photographers and advanced amateurs, Photomatix Pro is a standalone application offering two methods of tone mapping, six methods of exposure blending, an alignment tool for out-of-register images, 16-bit support, and batch processing.
Enhancements:
- Made the ratio and preview magnification settings remembered separately depending on whether the image is in landscape or portrait mode.
- Made the text boxes of the Tone Mapping and Exposure Fusion settings in batch mode editable.
- Bug fixed: Position of the Tone Mapping Preview dialog was not correctly remembered.

Enblend for Mac 3.0
Enblend is a tool for composing images. more>> Enblend is a tool for composing images. Given a set of images that overlap in some irregular way, Enblend overlays them in such a way that the seam between the images is invisible, or at least very difficult to see.
Enblend does not line up the images for you - youll need a tool such as Hugin for that soecific type of job.
Features:
New, faster image processing algorithms for computing Gaussian and Laplacian pyramids.
Optional optimization of seam line placement to try to avoid mismatches and parallax errors in the image overlap region.
Masks can now be saved and loaded from files. This makes it possible to manually edit the location of the seam before multiresolution spline blending is applied.
Checkpointing of partial results is now optional. This improves speed.
Optional blending using the CIECAM02 color appearance model. Your TIFF files should have embedded ICC profiles in order to use this option. This replaces the CIE L*a*b* color blending in Enblend 2.X that never worked properly.
Optional use of the graphics processor to speed up certain computations. This feature is experimental and may not work on all systems.
Like other X.0 releases, please consider this a beta.<<less

Exposure blending: combining images taken at different exposures into one image with increased dynamic range
Tone Mapping: processing a High Dynamic Range (HDR) image to compress its tonal range while preserving local contrast.
The result is an image that you can display on standard monitors, while preserving the details of the original scene in highlights and shadows.
Exposure Merger 2.25.4

Exposure Merger 2.25.4 is considered as a simple and salutary freeware which is designed to build stereo photographs.
It offers an Exposure Merger function that can be used with non-stereo photographs, without taking into account the original stereo goal of the software. It takes an overexposed photograph and a subexposed photograph, and merge them together in a tunable way to build a new photograph taking only the well exposed parts of each original. It is also possible to produce 2 artificial exposures with a single photograph, using a gamma filter, and then to merge them together exactly like if it where 2 original differently exposed photographs.

FrameBlenderQT 2.0a5
FrameBlenderQT - Cleans up still images that are captured from video more>>
FrameBlender is primarily useful to remove random noise. Since the noise is different in every frame, blending many frames together acts to cancel out the noise.
XBlend 1.3
XBlend uses an intelligent method to vary the way images are blended based on the subject matter more>>
For areas having sudden color changes, such as a door frame, images are blended over a narrow area as our minds expect sharp transitions in those areas. Input images are created using the Multi-image tiff option in PTMac or PTBatch then processed using XBlend.
A free front-end for Enblend, XBlend is useful for seamlessly blending already positioned images into a final panorama.
Alternatively, enblend can be used directly by PTMac and PTBatch by selecting the Enblend TIFF or Enblend PSD options.
XBlend gives the user a simple interface for using enblend. The user loads the images on the first tab, sets the desired blending options on the second tab and presses the blend button.

Enblend 1.3
Enblend - Composit images using a multiresolution spline more>>
The basic idea is that image features should be blended across a
transition zone proportional in size to the spatial frequency of the features.
For example, objects like trees and windowpanes have rapid changes in color.
By blending these features in a narrow zone, you will not be able to see the seam because the eye already expects to see color changes at the edge of these features. Clouds and sky are the opposite.
These features have to be blended across a wide transition zone because any sudden change in color will be immediately noticeable.
Enblend expects each input TIFF to be the same size. The alpha channel should indicate the region of the file that has valid image data. Enblend compares the alpha regions in the input files to find the areas where images overlap.
Enblend does not align images for you. Use a tool like Hugin or PanoTools to do this. The multiple TIFFs produced by these programs are exactly what enblend is designed to work with.
