Entourage has the ability to export a folder full of messages as an industry standard UNIX-like Mailbox format (MBOX file). This is a quick and easy way of archiving mail out of Entourage, either for routine backup or when changing mail porgrammes.

However, if you have a lot of folders, frequently nested several levels deep, this process becomes a tedious and time consuming one. This script will save ALL your folders, now matter how deep they are nested (well, OK, there will be a limit, but its more than 8 levels in tests I have carried out)

This is an application just for taking photos from a video camera like an iSight.

For best results you may setup the application like this:

* Save pictures in the PNG format.
* Set the resolution in the preferences to the native one of the camera.
* The compression settings for the video source should be set to "no compression".

This application is freeware and provided as is.

Open Photos is a useful script application showing how to use an idle handler to emulate a repeat loop. It opens multiple JPEG photos dropped on it, but it waits for each photo to open before opening the next.

Completly freeware for personal use.

Facebook Exporter for iPhoto 1.0.6 is considered as a free, flexible and effective plugin tool for iPhoto, designed to allow you to export photos directly to your Facebook account.

Major Features:

1. Select Photos in your iPhoto Library
   • Select your favorite photos or a whole album, click "Export" in the "File" menu (or the "Share" menu in iPhoto 5), then click the "Facebook" tab. Your photos will be previewed here.
2. Pick a Facebook Album
   • Pick one of your existing Facebook albums, or create a new one. Your photos will be uploaded to this album.
3. Add Captions
   • Scroll through your photos and add captions to any or all of them. The captions are auto-filled with any comments you've already made through iPhoto.
4. Tag Your Friends
   • You can tag your friends using the same quick-and-easy interface found on Facebook. Click on someone in your photo, then select from a list of your friends.
   • Note: If any of your friends have disabled access for this Platform application, they won't be displayed in your friend list.
5. Export
   • When you are done adding captions and tags, click the "Export" button to upload your photos to your Facebook account. The uploaded photos are considered pending. You'll have the opportunity to review pending photos on Facebook and set the privacy level before making them visible from your profile.

Export PICT2PING 1.0.1 is regarded as a rather praiseworthy AppleScript Droplet that uses GUI scripting to automate the process of opening the .pict in Preview and exporting to .png.

Why use GUI scripting? The Preview application is not AppleScript aware. Why not use another graphic application instead? This script is as a workaround for dealing with .pict files extracted from iTunes 4 Artwork (via the Export Artwork script). The .pict file data is not standard and therefore can not be opened by graphic applications. When exported to .png format, the file can be manipulated in many graphic applications. Works in conjunction with the script Export Artwork.

Export Messages is an AppleScript that will save multiple emails to text files in a folder on your desktop.

Does not support HTML emails yet, just plain text emails, but it is perfect for mailing list subscription emails or digests that are cluttering up your Mail mailboxes!

Export Messages runs from the script menu in Mail. Just drop it in the Mail Scripts folder in your Scripts folder (in your Library folder). If you dont see a folder named Mail Scripts, just create one (or choose Open Scripts Folder from the script menu in Mail and Mail will create it).

Export Contacts to HTML exports names and email addresses of all contacts in your Entourage Address Book into an HTML-formatted file ("mailto" links).

This file is formatted so that, in OS X, users of the utility "LaunchBar" can drag the file into its configuration window and scan it to enable instant access to sending a message to any contact, from anywhere on the system.

Tested to extract contact info from Entourage 2001 - should also work with Entourage v. X.
