Event Scheduler 2.0 is an excellent and must-see product which offers you a free and open source resource allocation tool. Event Scheduler is useful for people who have many resources and need to determine how to allocate the resources to "slots" that require filling on particular dates (or events).
Major Features:
- Events occur on one or more dates and are made up of several "slots" that need to be filled by resources. A resource is defined as an entity that is capable of filling one or more slots within an event.
- Resources can be people, equipment, or something else depending on the problem being solved.
- Resources can have date conflicts that prevent a particular resource from being allocated to a particular event. In addition, each slot type that can be filled by a particular resource has a preference associated with it.
Enhancements:
- This release is a major upgrade to the previous "beta" version of the event scheduler. Several GUI improvements have been made to facilitate more efficient creation of scheduler projects.
- In addition, the application uses an XML format for storing project data (instead of a binary format).
- Overall, this release is functionally equivalent to the previous version, but is much easier to use.

Install by double clicking the disk image (the .dmg file you download) and dragging the CalendarCreator.service file on the newly mounted drive to ~/Library/Services/ or /Library/Services/. Once you log out and log back in you will be able to add any selected text as an event in iCal in a new calendar called 'CalendarCreator.'

- Change the key equivalent to command-shift-d to make it easier to make calendar entries from apps that have a colour panel.

(choice of 1-10) For each different instrument the following decisions are then made: Decision 2a: Which note will be played? (choice of 1 to 127 (middle C = 60)) Decision 2b: How loud will that note be played? (choice of 1 (almost silent) to 127 (very loud)) Decision 2c: Which sound will be used? (choice of 1 to 128 (see table below)) Decision 3: How long will the notes be held? (choice of 0.25, 0.375, 0.5, 0.75, 1. 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 seconds.
These are equivalent to the following note values at 60 bpm, semiquaver, dotted semiquaver, quaver, dotted quaver, crotchet, dotted crotchet, minim, dotted minim, semibreve, dotted semibreve and breve.) Exymen bases on a diploma thesis of computer science (German equivalent of a Master of Science thesis). The goal was to create a Java based editing tool for web-streaming lectures produced with the E-Chalk System. The original task was to design a uniform GUI for the editor and to define data structures capable of handling all different content types in E-Chalk lectures, which include sound, video, board content and slide show events.
The author then generalized the problem by providing abstract data structures that allow handling all kind of time based media. Exymen has an open API, enabling developers to write plugins that fill the abstract data structures with different types of formatted content. Exymen has a powerful and dynamic plugin managing mechanism based on the OSGi standard.

Not to forget: one or more Clients with any Browser to display the page over network (home, business or internet).

This allows for enhanced keyboard navigation. For example, the traditional "Save before closing?" dialog asks to "Save", "Cancel" or "Dont Save". Save is typically the default key (return) and Cancel the cancel (escape), but there is no keyboard way to hit Dont Save. Enter HCmdButtonAttachment. Make it cmd-D!
With HCmdButtonAttachment, you can give (almost) any LControl a command-key shortcut. ou can specify the key to be the first letter/character of the controls descriptor or it can be a character of your own arbitrary specification. You can also have the title of the control change to display the shortcut or not, and do so after a user-configurable amount of time.
