Web Ping 1.0
Web Ping - Track your connection to a specific site more>>
Insted of doing an actual network ping, Web Ping tests a connection by downloading a web page on a given server. The size of the page and time are stored in memory and the times are graphed. In this way, sites that block network a ping can still be tracked.
Web Ping also keeps track of the largest and smallest download times per session and also tracks the max and min values currently on the graph. Times of interest are graphed in a color which represents if it is a max or a min. (see figure one). The history tab also lists all the max values as they have been recevied. A running average is also calculated with each download. The files downloaded are not processed or stored in any way. This prevents any security problems that can normaly happen in a web browser enviroment. The only two pecies of information retained about a downloaded file is the size and time.

Eternal Lands 1.8
Eternal Lands is recognized to be an elegant MMORPG client (massive multiplay online role playing game) currently under development. more>> Eternal Lands 1.8 is recognized to be an elegant MMORPG client (massive multiplay online role playing game) currently under development. There are 9 skills, many quests, total character development freedom, religion, a lot of NPCs, animals and monsters.
If you are a PKer, you can fight other PKers in special maps. If you are not a PKer, then you can stay on the non PK maps, where you dont have to worry about being attacked by other players.
Major Features:
- Fully 3D isometric environment. As opposed to the 2D isometric games, you can turn the camera at any angle you want, on the Z axes (perpendicular to the ground), and see new details of the objects that were previously obscured.
- Day/Night/Morning/Evening. The day/night cycle has 6 hours. Morning starts at 0:00, and at 1:00 its full daylight. The evening starts at 3:00, and at 4:00 its full night. The light changes very smoothly, one a minute based enviroment table.
- Dynamic projective shadows. The shadows respect the sun position, so they move while the sun travels on the sky. In the morning, the shadows become more and more visible, while in the evening they fade out, having a very smooth transition. Shadows can be turned on/off, by the player, in case their machine cant handle them properly, at a decent frame rate.
- Lake water reflection. All the nearby objects, and the sky, are reflected in the water. Furthermore, the water moves a little, having very small waves, so all the reflected objects/sky are animated. Also, the color of the water changes, according to the time of the day. It is really nice to observe the lakes in the morning/evening.
- Custom colors. Each player can customize the colors & hair of their avatar.
- Multiple maps. There are many outside places to explore, and caves, dungeons, insides of buildings, etc.
- Different map sizes. The largest map has .768 square KMs. That is, 589824 SQM.
- Trade ability. Players are able to trade their items with others.
- Magic system. Implemented, but still under development.
- Fighting! Players are able to fight with eachother (on PK maps) and with various animals, in the wilderness (or even in populated areas).
- Horses and support for running.
- A few new items.
- Improvements over the UI.
- Bug fixes.
- Some 2d, 3d and animation artwork improvements (bigger textures, some broken objects fixed, etc.)
- Some harvestable resources have been moved around a little.
Requirements: Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
ClassicToggler 1.0
ClassicToggler - Launch and quit the Classic Enviroment more>>
Completly freeware for personal use.
Bye Bye Dashboard 2.0
Bye Bye Dashboard - Easily and painlessly remove the Dashboard more>>
Drive without the Dashboard.
Bye Bye Dashboard is a free utility to easily and painlessly remove the Dashboard. Tests show that the Dashboard uses a siginificant amount of CPU power even when not in use. It has also shown to use a large ammount of internet bandwith. Also in a corporate enviroment the Dahsboard could be come a distration to employees. Thus Bye Bye Dashboard is made.
The Dashbaord is not in any way an essiential part of OS X it is simply another Appliction built into OS X. Disabling the Dashbaord is in no way a permanent opperation. Bye Bye Dashboard also works the other way. It can eaisly enable the Dashboard in seconds. This is rather useful if you want to have the Dashboard disabled but still have the ability to use it when you disire it.
I hope you like Bye Bye Dashboard, and if you have any comments or feed back please email me (See contact us).
Enhancements:
- Update.

MAMP 1.7
MAMP - The abbreviation MAMP stands for: Macintosh, Apache, Mysql and PHP more>>
Often sought-after and now available from webEdition Software, MAMP installs a local server enviroment in a matter of seconds on your Mac OS X computer, be it PowerBook or iMac. Like similar packages from the Windows- and Linux-world, MAMP comes free of charge.
MAMP will not compromise any existing Apache installation already running with your OS X.
MAMP is installed in the typical Mac fashion: very easily. You can install Apache, PHP and MySQL without starting a script or having to change any configuration files!
Whats more, if MAMP is no longer needed, it is sufficient to delete the MAMP folder and everything returns to its original status (i.e. MAMP does not modify any of the "normal" OS X).
Licensing
Similar to a Linux-Distribution, MAMP is a combination of free software and thus it is offered free of charge. MAMP is released under the GNU General Public License and may thereby be distributed freely within the boundaries of this license. Please note: some of the included software is released using a different license. In these cases, the corresponding license applies.
Philosophy
MAMP was created primarily as a PHP development environment for Macintosh computer and should therefore not be used as Live Webserver for the Internet. In this case, we recommend that you use Mac OS X server with the provided Apache or a Linux server.

68quad 1.1
68quad is an advanced and innovative project aiming to create an Open Source definition of a high performance Microprocessor Architecture. more>>
68quad 1.1 is an advanced and innovative project aiming to create an Open Source definition of a high performance Microprocessor Architecture. The 68k architecture created by Motorola was the most ambitious design of 1981. But the latest version was the 68060 (a superscalar pipelined 32 bit processor with up to 110MIPs) introduced about 1992. Then, Motorola apparently stopped development of this product line in favour of the IBM/Apple/Motorola PowerPC architecture.
In the 80's, software in the Macintosh and UNIX enviroment was primarily available for the 68k architecture but since then most of these systems were ported to RISC architectures. Therefore, the 68k architecture is be the best candidate for revival in an Open Source project, as it is well known, general purpose but currently not continued.
In the last years, other silicon vendors (Intel Merced, HP PA, MIPS, DEC alpha, ...) have extended their architecures to 64 bit to extend the directly (and therefore fast) addressable memory range and integer processing power especially for server applications. As the 68k floating point architecture already defines 64 bit (double) and 80 bit (extended) precision, the 68quad is targeted to have 64 bit and 80 bit integer operands as well to make the architecture more homogenous.
Major Features:
- Define a 64 bit (or 80 bit) upwards compatible API for the 68k architecture
- Extend the Mac06 (http://www.dsitri.de/projects/mac06/mac06.html) assembler and C compiler to create 68quad code
- Write a simulator demonstrating the pipeline architecture
- Provide enough information for independent silicon designers to create 68quad compatible chips
- Port Linux/m68k to 68quad
