Enhancements:
- Our v.0.5.1 release of Text Trix is the first bug-cruncher in our new FRIENDS (Family of Really Innovative ENDS) series. Our goal in this series is to get serious about making friends of Text Trix. Were seeking to create a family of plugins that will be a one-stop resource, and "end" to your search for text tools that make your typing easier. Or an "end*s*," cuz with Text Trix, the family keeps growing, and the trix never end!
- Of course, to build a family, we need a solid home to house it. This release focuses on crunching a few bugs in Text Trix itself as well as a couple of its plugins. Notable behind-the-scenes fixes include removal of a couple start-up errors you reported on some platforms. The new Song Sheet plugin also has a few tweaks to work with a wider variety of text formatting.
- Every house needs an exterminator...but soon well need a decorator! Weve blasted a few bugs here, and now were looking for new decor. If you have ideas for a plugin or would like to write your own, please dont hesitate to post one. We look forward to your joining the family!

iShred provides an interface to the "SRM" or secure delete function.
iShred is a front end to the Unix "srm" command. As far as what it does, the man page for "srm" sums it up best...
srm removes each specified file by overwriting, renaming, and truncating it before unlinking. This prevents other people from undeleting or recovering any information about the file from the command line.

Convert to PDF 1.1 is an application to convert all of your text files to PDF. This action uses the underlying cups printing system ability to convert files, it's a simple front end to the command line tool cupsfilter.

Line End Changer changes Macintosh style line endings (carriage return, ASCII 13) to Unix style line endings (line feed, ASCII 10) in a plain text file.

As written, it is set up to do the conversion for Web Star log files, but can be easily modified to handle any plain text file you want to convert.

BBEdit Helper is a simple tool that offers a GUI front end to several text coversion features of BBEdit 6.5.
