Please note CryptoToy is only intended for amusement and not for securing data, these three ciphers are quite obsolete and can be broken by a competent crytanalysis tool in a matter of seconds.

SimpleCrypt is my first attempt at an easy-to-use Java Swing encryption program.
It uses password based encryption and the 3DES algorithm at 168 bits. Encryption can be a little a slow, so be patient.
The application uses the .enc extension to signify files it has encrypted.
Mac OS X, Windows and Multiplatform (jar) versions are included, as well as source. This allows you to port your encrypted files to different computers and decrypt them.

Enhancements:

- Doesnt delete the file after encryption

- Layout (Changed combo box to raido buttons, added password confirm box).

Mac OS 9s File Encryption utilitites are pretty cool, but you cant encrypt more than one file at once without compressing them.
Stuffn Crypt doesnt change that, but it does make it easier to deal with by taking any number of files, placing them into a folder, stuffing them, and encrypting them.
Enhancements
- Now carbon-compliant, should fix errors with OS 9.1 where it asks for the location of Apple File Security every time its run.
