Crypt script is designed to be used like a command to encrypt/decrypt files. It uses RC-4 (128-bit) encryption technology, which is the same as what most secure web sites use. Encrypted files have the .crypt suffix appended to the file name.
Crypt is free and very powerful. It uses open source (OpenSSL) technology and can be used to encrypt/decrypt as many files as you want in a single command.
Enhancements:
- Adds a shred option (-s) to secure delete files instead of just the standard remove command. The shred will overwrite the file 25 times then add a final overwrite with zeros to hide the shredding. Finally it removes the file after shredding.
- The remove (-r) option is still available.

Compress, Encrypt, and Email is an Automator workflow that allows you to print a document as an encrypted PDF document, the PDF is then included in a new email message.

Compress, Encrypt, and Email can be installed by double clicking the CompressEncryptEmail installer package that is in this folder. Complete the installer by following the instructions. A restart is not required, but it is recommended.

Using Compress, Encrypt, and Email is not a difficult task. When you are ready to make the PDF file and start the workflow, click the File menu and click Print. When the print dialog is displayed, click the PDF menu and select "Compress, Encrypt, Email".

This will begin making the PDF, after a couple of seconds (depending on how big the PDF is) a dialog will be displayed asking for an encryption password; type in your password and click continue.

QuickEncrypt - Keep your data private!
This is a complete rewrite of the old classic QuickEncrypt product, using Mac OS X native Cocoa technologies.
Drop a file or folder on this application to quickly encrypt it, or decrypt previously encrypted files. The application currently supports QEs original encryption format, and may be enhanced in the future to support other formats.
Note, at present only the basic encryption and decryption features are implemented, plus a basic archive window. Future enhancements will be made based on feedback and workload, so please tell me if you use QuickEncrypt, and what new or old features youd like to see implemented in this rewrite.

- Fixed a bug that sneaked into the previous release, where it could crash in some situations after the license agreement window is displayed (i.e. only occurred after the initial update).
