Newton Connection is a program that allows you to backup your Newton data to your Mac desktop, import and export Dates, Names, Notes and NewtonWorks, install packages and use your Mac desktop keyboard to enter text on your Newton device.
In fact, most of the functions provided by the Newton Connection Utilities, but without the need for the Classic environment.
Enhancements:
- Does not work on intel-based Macs.
- There is a problem with the serial port access that causes it to crash shortly after launching.
- We are working on a fix. Meanwhile, if you have an intel-based Mac with no USB-serial adapter you can run the new version using TCP/IP.
