Email Encoder is a simple application which will encode your email address (in an html tag) with ASCII values.
Overview
To help prevent getting spam mail to your email account, use Email Encoder to encode your email address (in an html tag) with ASCII values. It is not guaranteed to stop spam, but it does reduce the amount you get.

With Email Encoder, enter in your email address and display text, and it will generate an encoded html tag to use on your website.

URLencode Widget simply converts any text on your clipboard to plain text, and then encodes or decodes that text using the javascript escape() and unescape() functions, placing the result back onto the clipboard.
Handy for those doing manual database, xml, or web work.
The MacOSX clipboard is capable of copying rtf formatted text. (Notice when you copy from a webpage and then paste it into TextEdit, it usually still has the fonts, formatting, and colors). The URLencode widget attempts to translate that text to plain text before encoding it!
To use the URLencode, simply copy some text onto your clipboard (Command - c), then open your Dashboard (F12 is the default button), and then click either the ENCODE or DECODE buttons on the URLencode Widget. The resulting text will be on your clipboard, ready to be pasted (Command - v) into a different place.
Why would you want to do this, you ask? Well, many people who work as programmers, database admins, XML users, and the like, tend to need to have text encoded by hand on occasion. Encoding the text changes all special characters including spaces into a 3 character string starting with % and ending with the two digit ASCII code for the character.

Decode URL is a scripting addition that decodes URL characters using the %xx encoding scheme. Use the related Encode URL scripting addition to encode those special characters.

Decode URL is completly freeware and the source code is included within the package.

Encoding plethora 1.3.1 is an effective utility in that you can encode or decode items simply by dropping them on the script. If the item is already compressed the script will decode it, otherwise it will encode. They are a lot better at working with long filenames and "strange" characters than Aladdin Systems Stuffit Expander and also deal with formats that Stuffit Expander chokes on.

A52 Codec is a AudioUnit component to decode A52/AC-3 audio.

It is a CoreAudio component that can decode stereo and 5.1 surround sound from A52 and AC-3 audio.
This type of audio is often found in DVD movies.

A52 codec is a simple wrapper around the open-source library liba52. The wrapper merely adapts the library to Apples CoreAudio framework. It also handles getting some information from the A52 stream and setting it, so other units farther down the line can be well informed.

Technical Information About A52 Codec
We have successfully been able to play 2-channel AC-3 files with Apple-provided software. Apples AC-3 AudioFile component has a bug which makes it unable to detect LFE channels, so applications will need to provide their own stream loading services for full decoding. The media-encoding application 3ivx Crush utilizes this component fully to successfully decode full 5.1 channel data.
The filter is constrained to decoding either stereo or full 5.1 sound. Applications like 3ivx Crush will then encode this using QuickTime 7 for full fidelity sound.
